College Football Parlay Picks for Today 9/2/21

Thursday is a solid slate of CFB games with 16 games taking place, and that means plenty of different options to make some winning parlays. Let’s take a couple of winning parlays to make your Thursday a winning one.

Minnesota Golden Gophers +14 -110 / Appalachian State Mountaineers -10.5 -110 / Tennessee Volunteers -35.5 -115 // $10 bet pays $58.14

Minnesota has a tough matchup going against Ohio State, but I think they find a way to keep it close. The last time Ohio State and Minnesota faced off, Ohio State had no answer for Mo Ibrahim who rushed 23 times for 157 yards and two touchdowns. Ibraham is an even better running back now and will be key in this game. Minnesota also has more experience at quarterback with Tanner Morgan, and the Gophers quarterback will lead the team to enough offensive success for Minnesota to cover the spread.

The Appalachian State Mountaineers have hung their hat on their defense the last few years and that will be the difference in this game. East Carolina is a strong offensive team, especially with their passing attack, but Appalachian State’s defense strength is with their secondary. The Mountaineers only gave up 20 points per game last year, and East Carolina would be lucky to get to that number in this game. East Carolina’s defense was awful last year giving up 35.44 points per game. Appalachian State will cruise to the victory in this game.

This Tennessee Volunteers team still probably won’t have the best season, but this matchup just isn’t fair for the Bowling Green Falcons. When Scot Loeffler was hired he was supposed to improve the offense, but that hasn’t improved. Last season, Bowling Green’s offense only managed 11 points. Tennessee is going to want to make a statement with the offense and will run up the score.

Rutgers Scarlet Knights -14 -110 / UCF Knights-14 -110 // $10 bet pays $26.45

The Temple Owls took a big step backward last season finishing with a 1-6 record, and their biggest issue was with the defense. Rutgers has Noah Vedral back under center for Rutgers, and he is going to find success against the terrible Temple offense. Look for Rutgers to win this game by 17 points or more.

The UFC Knights and Boise State Broncos both had big changes this offseason with new head coaches coming in. This is quite the task for Boise State going on the road to the Bounce House and having to play in front of that crowd. The x-factor in this game will be UCF quarterback Dillon Gabriel who threw for 3570 yards and 32 touchdowns. Look for Garbriel to have a big game and for the Knights to cover the spread.
