Florida State vs Clemson Prediction Football Picks Today 10/31/26

The Clemson Tigers and the Florida State Seminoles meet Saturday in college football action from Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee. Here’s a Florida State vs Clemson prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Florida State vs Clemson pick.

Clemson Tigers Betting Preview

The Tigers have had their ups and downs this year despite starting 3-1 overall. Those wins came versus Georgia Southern, North Carolina and California. Clemson has since gone just 1-2 with a win over Charleston Southern sandwiched between losses to Miami and Virginia Tech. That gives Clemson a 4-3 record overall so far.

In the Virginia Tech matchup last weekend the Tigers could only muster a field goal in the first half. Clemson got better in the third quarter though, scoring a few times to take a 16-10 lead at one point. In the end however, the Tigers ran out of gas in a 20-16 loss. QB Tait Reynolds was 20-of-26 for 153 yards and also led the rush with 63 yards and a score on 18 carries.

Florida State Seminoles Betting Preview

Over on the Florida State side, they got off to a 3-2 run over their first five games. Those outings had wins over New Mexico State, Central Arkansas and Virginia alongside losses to SMU and Alabama. The Seminoles have since lost consecutive outings versus Louisville and Miami, resulting in a 3-4 run through seven games thus far.

In the Miami game back on October 17, the Seminoles kept the pace well in the first half, going into the locker room at 14-14. FSU had a brief lead in the third quarter but eventually lost the game in double-overtime fashion 43-35. QB Ashton Daniels was 15-of-28 for 298 yards, four TDs and a pick. Duce Robinson had five catches for 113 yards and two of the scores.

Florida State vs Clemson Prediction

I’ll stick with FSU but it’s a coin flip. The Seminoles went down to the wire against a tough Miami squad in their last outing despite a spotty 5-of-12 on third downs and a couple of turnovers. Florida State generated 443 yards of offense but also gave up 583 yards on the other side. That makes a combined 87 points surrendered over the last two games for FSU.

As for Clemson, they went just 3-of-14 on third downs and found just 15 first downs in their loss to Virginia Tech. The Tigers were in a winning position late in the game but couldn’t close things out. Clemson has 16 points or fewer in each of their three losses this season so if they can get a few TDs on the board here they’ll be in great shape.
