Notre Dame got off to a nice start this year, beating Texas A&M 23-13 in their opener. After a shocker loss 16-14 to Northern Illinois, the Fighting Irish rebounded with wins over Purdue 66-7, Miami-OH 28-3 and Louisville 31-24 in the next trio.

Matched up against Stanford last weekend, the Irish didn’t have too many issues. Notre Dame was up 21-7 by halftime and rolled to a blowout win 49-7. QB Riley Leonard threw for 229 yards and three scores. Leading the rush was Jeremiyah Love with 53 yards and a TD.

Georgia Tech vs Notre Dame Prediction

I’ll go with Notre Dame. You could make a case either way here, though. The Irish didn’t have too many issues with a fairly mediocre Stanford team over the weekend, notching 477 yards (229 rushing), 7.2 yards per play and 24 first downs. The Irish defense gave up just 200 yards on the other side (87 passing) along with 14 first downs and 4-of-12 on third-down tries.

Notre Dame will have their hands full with the Georgia Tech running game, though. The Jackets pummeled North Carolina for 371 rush yards (505 total), 7.1 yards per play and 25 first downs in their thriller road victory. Georgia Tech will be feeling confident heading into this one, and it should be a great one to watch.
