I may take a stab on Kentucky here. This should be a pretty interesting matchup regardless. The Wildcats are riding high after the big win over Florida, and it’s no secret how they did it. Kentucky posted a whopping 329 rushing yards, 7.1 yards per play and zero turnovers. On defense the Wildcats held Florida to just 69 rushing yards (and 244 passing) with 15 first downs. Florida was out of sorts on 10 penalties as well.
Considering Kentucky’s big rushing performance, it’s enticing to think that they could find some success on the ground versus Georgia. The Bulldogs gave up 219 rushing yards to Auburn, but their saving grace was the third-down performance. Auburn converted just two of 12 third-down tries. I have to think that Georgia will be prepared for a Kentucky ground attack this week, so you could certainly make a case for the Bulldogs. Should be a fun one to watch.
