Indiana vs Ohio State Prediction Football Picks Today 10/17/26

The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Indiana Hoosiers meet Saturday in college football action from Memorial Stadium in Bloomington. Here’s an Indiana vs Ohio State prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Indiana vs Ohio State pick.

Ohio State Buckeyes Betting Preview

The Buckeyes didn’t have any issues versus Ball State in their opener this year, kicking things off with a 56-3 victory. Ohio State would then lose a tough one 24-23 versus a very good Texas team on September 12, then took out Kent State in blowout fashion. The next pair were both wins as well; Ohio State beat Illinois and Iowa for a 4-1 start through five outings.

Last weekend versus Maryland, Ohio State didn’t have too many issues. After notching two touchdowns and a field goal in the second quarter, the Buckeyes bagged two more TDs in the second half for a 45-16 victory in the end. QB Julian Sayin was 13-of-21 for 242 yards, four scores and an interception. Bo Jackson carried 23 times for 107 yards and two touchdowns.

Indiana Hoosiers Betting Preview

Over on the Indiana side, they kicked off the season with a very nice run. The Hoosiers blew out North Texas 52-16 in their opener then pummeled Howard 55-0 in game two. Game three was a win over Western Kentucky then came a 29-23 victory versus Northwestern. Following a 47-15 road win over Rutgers, Indiana opened the season with a 5-0 run in the books.

Matched up against Nebraska last weekend the Hoosiers were trailing at the half by a score of 10-3, then added a field goal in the third. Indiana was down 17-6 in the fourth but came bak for a 20-17 win in the end. QB Josh Hoover was 12-of-22 for 263 yards and two touchdowns. Nick Marsh caught both scores among his six grabs for 187 yards in the victory.

Indiana vs Ohio State Prediction

I’ll go with Ohio State but you could argue this one either way. The Buckeyes were quite good against Maryland last weekend, holding the Terrapins to just 10 first downs, 146 total yards and 3-of-12 on third-down tries. Ohio State notched 449 yards and 24 first downs on offense themselves, but did have a couple of turnovers in the win. That makes for straight wins with 31 or more points scored in each of those.

As for Indiana, they got past a pesky Nebraska team last weekend but it wasn’t pretty. The Hoosiers posted just 13 first downs and an ugly 1-of-10 success rate on third downs while giving up 25 first downs and 39:33 in time of possession to the Huskers. Indiana still hasn’t given up more than 23 points all season long.
