The Hawkeyes are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall and 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 week 2 matchups while the under is 12-4 in their last 16 games played in September. The Cyclones are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games as a favorite and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games played in September while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall. The under is 5-1 in the last 6 meetings between these two teams.

I get the case that could be made either way here, as this is a rivalry game and you can throw trends and records out the window in most cases. However, I’m leaning towards the under here as these two usually give us a slugfest and a game that is the epitome of the words rivalry game. I think you’re going to see 60 minutes of smash mouth football, so give me the under.
