Kansas State vs Arizona State Prediction 11-16-24 College Football Picks

The Arizona State Sun Devils and the Kansas State Wildcats will meet on Saturday in college football action from Bill Snyder Family Stadium. Here’s a Kansas State vs Arizona State prediction. We will look at this from a betting perspective and determine the best Kansas State vs Arizona State pick.

Arizona State Sun Devils Betting Preview

Arizona State won its first three games versus Wyoming, Mississippi State, and Texas State. Following a loss to Texas Tech the Sun Devils would win three of the next four over Kansas, Utah, and Oklahoma State (with a loss to Cincinnati mixed in).

In their Saturday matchup with UCF, the Sun Devils scored in every quarter (and gave up points in every quarter) during a 35-31 victory. QB Sam Leavitt posted 161 yards with three scores. Jordyn Tyson caught two of them among his seven grabs for 99 yards.

Kansas State Wildcats Betting Preview

Over on the Kansas State side, they won their first three also versus TN-Martin, Tulane, and Arizona before a blowout loss to BYU. The Wildcats regrouped with wins over Oklahoma State, Colorado, West Virginia, and Kansas in the next four, though.

Kansas State fell back into the loss column back on November 2 versus Houston. The Wildcats were up 19-10 heading into the fourth quarter but ultimately lost 24-19 in a tough result. Kansas State’s Avery Johnson threw for 238 yards, one TD, and two picks. DJ Giddens led the rush on 50 yards and another score.

Kansas State vs Arizona State Prediction

I’ll probably just stick with Kansas State. The Wildcats have had some time to nurse their wounds after the stunner loss to Houston in their last outing, so they should look more collected here. The Wildcats posted 327 total yards in that one (238 passing) with a spotty 5-of-14 rate on third downs and the two interceptions.

As for Arizona State, they didn’t have the most overwhelming numbers in the win over UCF last weekend but got the job done. The Sun Devils posted a tepid 260 total yards (99 rushing), 4.6 yards per play, and 18 first downs. (The nine UCF penalties helped as well.) The Sun Devils will have a lot more to deal with this weekend.
