Chris’ Pick

I’m leaning towards LSU here. This is a MASSIVE number for an LSU team that hasn’t been playing a ton of defense lately, but here’s the thing. As bad as LSU’s defense is, they’re slightly better at stopping the run, and against an option offense like Army, it’ll allow LSU to stack the box and if Army wants to make a big play, it’ll force the Black Knights out of their comfort zone trying to beat LSU over the top. This Army defense is solid against the pass, but LSU can run the football as well, and I just think LSU gets all of the big plays here on the way to a huge win over Army. Give me LSU in a beatdown.
