Memphis vs North Alabama 11/19/22 College Football Picks, Predictions, Odds

The North Alabama Lions and the Memphis Tigers meet in college football action from Simmons Bank-Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The North Alabama Lions will try to rebound from a 35-27 loss to Tennessee Tech in their last game. Noah Walters threw for 333 yards and 2 touchdowns on 21 of 36 passing while ShunDerrick Powell rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown on 30 carries. Takairee Kenebrew added a team-high 77 receiving yards and a touchdown while Dakota Warfield and Corson Swan each had a team-high 4 catches for a combined 135 receiving yards and Demarcus Lacey added a receiving TD as well in the loss.

The Memphis Tigers will be looking to build on their 26-10 win over Tulsa last time out. Seth Henigan has thrown for 2,782 yards, 17 touchdowns and 7 interceptions on 64.5% passing while Asa Martin has a team-high 331 rushing yards with 4 touchdowns while Jeyvon Ducker has 326 rushing yards and Brandon Thomas has 270 rushing yards with a team-high 9 scores this season. Caden Prieskorn has a team-high 38 grabs for 480 receiving yards while Eddie Lewis has 451 receiving yards and Javon Ivory has 444 receiving yards this season. Gabriel Rogers and Joseph Scates each have 350+ receiving yards as well on the year. On defense, Xavier Cullens has a team-high 82 total tackles and a pair of interceptions while Quindell Johnson has a team-high 3 interceptions. Cormontae Hamilton also has a team-high 4.5 sacks this season. As a unit, Memphis’ defense has 16 sacks and 11 interceptions this season.

This is going to be a massive line, but realistically with bowl eligibility “on the line” for Memphis, this should be a no-doubter performance from the Tigers. I have no desire to take any sort of points with North Alabama in this spot, so give me Memphis in a blowout.
