North Carolina vs Miami Prediction

I don’t love the hook on top of a key number, but I have to lay the points with Miami on the road. While improved from last year, North Carolina doesn’t have the offensive horses to keep up with the Canes, as it’s ranked 112th in total offense and 96th in scoring offense. Miami has topped 40 points in four straight games, and that’s bad news for UNC. North Carolina just lost to Syracuse as an 8.5-point favorite.

Again, North Carolina is better than it was last year and is competing more, but it’s still not in a position to bang with the big boys. There is a look-ahead spot for the Canes with Notre Dame on deck, but that’s about the only concern heading into this game. Like, it has pretty much all season Miami should run away with things in ACC play.
