Notre Dame vs Boston College Prediction
I’ll stick with Notre Dame but I’m probably not touching it in reality. The line’s too thick to mess with. The Irish bagged a big statement win versus an excellent Miami squad over the weekend, notching 412 total yards, 22 first downs and no turnovers in the seven-point victory. The defense gave up 377 yards and 21 first downs but also had a couple of key takeaways. Notre Dame just has the lone blemish loss 28-24 versus BYU on the road this year; otherwise they’ve been perfect and should run the table the rest of the way.
As for Boston College, they couldn’t quite tame FSU in their last matchup, posting a couple of picks and 19 first downs in a seven-point loss. The Eagles went a solid 8-of-14 on third downs and gained 320 yards on offense, while the D gave up 22 first downs, 8-of-14 on third downs and 380 yards on the other side. It was a vast improvement over the 47-2 blowout loss to a great Duke squad the week before but still not getting it done in the win column. The Eagles will have a difficult time hanging around in this one.

Boston College Eagles Betting Preview
The Eagles have been on something of a shaky run this year, but they’re still flirting with the .500 mark. Boston College kicked things off with a loss to Cincinnati, then beat Rutgers and Maine in the next pair. The Eagles would then lose a couple versus Virginia Tech and SMU before two wins against Pitt and Georgia Tech. Since then however, it’s been two more losses to Duke and Florida State. Over nine games this year that gives Boston College a 4-5 run.
In their last outing versus Florida State on Saturday the Eagles managed a couple of touchdowns in the first half but still went into the break trailing 21-17. Boston College had a lead 24-21 going into the final quarter but got blanked from there in an eventual loss 31-24. Quarterback Mason McKenzie was 15-of-27 for 166 yards, two scores and a pick. Bo MacCormack rushed 16 times for 105 yards and a TD while Nedrick Boldin had two grabs for 49 yards and a TD in the losing effort for the Eagles.
