Ohio vs Bowling Green 11/22/22 College Football Picks, Predictions, Odds

The Bowling Green Falcons and the Ohio Bobcats meet Tuesday in college football action from Peden Stadium. Bowling Green is coming off a matchup versus Toledo. In that one the Falcons took a seven-point win. As for Ohio, they’re 8-3 overall after a win over Ball State in their last game. Bowling Green went just 1-3 over the first four games this year, losing to UCLA, Eastern Kentucky and Mississippi State. The Falcons hit a 4-2 run in the next six games, taking wins over Akron, Miami-OH, Central Michigan and Western Michigan.

In last Tuesday’s matchup versus Toledo, the Falcons went into halftime with a seven-point lead. Bowling Green put up another 21 points in the second half to maintain the 42-35 win. QB Matt McDonald posted 395 pass yards and four TDs in the win.

Over on the Ohio side, they were a sketchy 2-2 after four games this year, taking losses to Penn State and Iowa State. The Bobcats last recorded a loss back on October 1 to Kent State; since then the team has gone a nice 6-0.

Ohio faced off against Ball State in their last game on Tuesday and didn’t have much trouble. The Bobcats trailed early but ended up with a 32-18 victory in the end. Kurtis Rourke threw for 169 yards and a score; Sieh Bangura added 148 rush yards and two touchdowns.

The Falcons are 7-3-1 ATS in their last 11 road games and 6-1-1 ATS versus a team with a winning record. Bowling Green is 3-10 ATS in their last 13 in November.

Meanwhile the Bobcats are 7-0 ATS in their last seven overall and 5-1 ATS in their last six Tuesday games. Ohio is 13-3 ATS in their last 16 conference games.

PICK: I’m going to stay with Ohio in this one. The Bobcats are on a solid 6-0 run over their last half-dozen games and the team is playing well. Ohio bagged 427 total yards (224 rushing) in their win over Ball State back on Tuesday, which helped the team to a 36:38 mark in time of possession.

As for Bowling Green, they get credit for a nice win over a pretty good Toledo team. There’s room for improvement however, following a tepid 14 first downs and 12 penalties. All things considered, I like the Falcons to keep pace for a while here before Ohio breaks away late.
