Kewan Lacy had a great day on the ground with 16 totes for 108 yards and three scores, while Harrison Wallace caught five balls for 130 yards and a TD of his own.
In game two versus Kentucky, Ole Miss played a much tighter matchup. The Rebels faced an early deficit before scoring 27 points across the second and third quarters. When the dust settled Ole Miss had a road win 30-23. Simmons was 13-of-24 this time with 235 yards and a pair of picks—but did have a rush score. Lacy rushed 28 times for 138 yards and a touchdown, while Harrison Wallace caught four balls for 117 yards to lead the receivers.
Matched up against Arkansas, Ole Miss scored 24 points in the second quarter—while giving up 21 points in that same time frame—on the way to a hard-fought win 41-35. QB Trinidad Chambliss was 21-of-29 for 353 yards and a score while also leading the rush on 15 totes for 62 yards and two touchdowns. Lacy had 17 carries for 44 yards and a TD and Wallace led the receivers with six grabs for 92 yards and a touchdown.

I’ll go with Ole Miss here. The Rebels are coming off a gritty win over a feisty Arkansas team and they’ve got a few things to clean up, though. Ole Miss gave up 526 yards (305 passing), 7.3 yards per play, 29 first downs and a blistering 9-of-12 success rate on third-down conversions in the victory, but the offense was hot enough to counteract it on the other side. The Rebels collected 475 yards (357 passing), 6.8 yards per play, 25 first downs and 8-of-12 on third-down conversions themselves in the shootout. That gives the Rebels 30 or more points in all three games thus far, but it appears they’re also capable of surrendering some big points totals to solid offenses.
