The only real problem for Fresno State last season was with their defense, not the offense. In the last game of the season, Fresno State scored 39 points. UConn’s defense is going to have no answer and Fresno State is going to win this game in blowout fashion. Fresno State -31 as an alternate spread in the play.
UTEP over 34.5 points (-105)
New Mexico State’s defense is young, and they aren’t going to be very good this season. UTEP wants to make a statement early, and they aren’t going to take their foot off the gas at any time. Look for UTEP to run up the score, and they should finish closer to 40 points. Back UTEP over 34.5 points.
