Texas A&M vs Arkansas Prediction 9-28-24 College Football Picks

In this article we will formulate a Texas A&M vs Arkansas prediction for this College Football game on Saturday, September 28th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Let’s take a look at the prediction for this week five matchup.

Texas A&M Aggies Betting Preview

The Texas A&M Aggies are 3-1 (1-0) this year after they defeated Bowling Green by a score of 26-20 in their last game. Texas A&M led 13-3 at halftime, but they were up just three points going into the fourth, before slightly pulling away for the win. The Aggies out gained Bowling Green by a total of 408-339, tied the turnover battle at one, and went 6-15 on third down in the game. Marcel Reed threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns, while also rushing for 91 yards on 12 carries.

Texas A&M lost to Notre Dame by a score of 23-13 in their first game, but they did win their previous two games against McNeese and Florida. The A&M offense has scored 31 points per game with 161.8 passing yards and 256 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 18.3 points against per game this season. The Aggies have gone 40.8% on third down and 5-8 on fourth down through four games. Conner Weigman’s status is up in the air, so we may see Reed under center once again. Le’Veon Moss has rushed for 354 yards and three scores this season.

Arkansas Razorbacks Betting Preview

The Arkansas Razorbacks are 3-1 (1-0) this season after they defeated Auburn by a score of 24-14 last week. Arkansas was tied at seven in the third quarter, but they scored 10 points in the fourth quarter to pull away for the win. The Razorbacks were out gained by a total of 431-334, won the turnover battle 5-2, and went 9-19 on third down in the game. Taylen Green threw for 151 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions, while also rushing for 80 yards on 18 carries in the win.

Arkansas also has wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and UAB, while picking up a road loss in overtime against Oklahoma State. The Arkansas offense has scored 40.5 points per game with 284 passing yards and 240 rushing yards per game, while the defense has allowed 20 points against per game this season. The Razorbacks have gone 61% on third down and 3-7 on fourth down so far this season. Taylen Green has completed 53.7% of his passes for 957 yards, four touchdowns, and four interceptions, while Andrew Armstrong has caught 23 passes for 348 yards.

Texas A&M vs Arkansas Prediction

Both of these teams come into this game with a 3-1 record through four games this season, but Texas A&M is ranked #24 right now. The Aggies didn’t play their best game last week against Bowling Green and they were nearly upset at home. Texas A&M is dealing with an injury to their starting quarterback, so we may see the backup once again here. Arkansas picked up a very nice road win against Auburn last week and they should be undefeated, but they collapsed in the second half against Oklahoma State in week two. I really like what I have seen from this Arkansas team on offense this season and I think they have a great chance to get the win, so I will take the points with the Razorbacks.
