UTEP vs Liberty Prediction

Liberty is the better team on paper when you consider the Flames were supposed to be a contender in the CUSA this season. The problem is Liberty is one of the worst offensive teams in the country, and it’s led to 4 straight losses. Liberty has failed to cover 6 of its last 7 games. Now I’m supposed to back Liberty in the favorite role on the road? No, thanks.

UTEP has similar issues, especially on offense, but it’s shown more consistency defensively and gave Texas somewhat of a scare. I’m not excited to get involved in either spot, as there are better ways to spend your Wednesday. However, if forced to pick, I want the points. That happens to be UTEP. Liberty shouldn’t be favored against anybody in its current form.
