Ron Wiggins also had a rushing score and 88 rushing yards. P.J. Wells led the Gamecocks in receiving with 5 grabs for 63 yards in the win.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane sit at 1-1 after a 38-35 win over NIU last time out. Davis Brin has thrown for 782 yards, 7 touchdowns and a pick on 58.3% passing while Steven Anderson has a team-high 98 rushing yards and a pair fo scores so far this season. Keylon Stokes leads the Golden Hurricane with 19 grabs for 304 yards and a pair of TDs while JuanCarlos Santana has 11 catches for 189 yards and 3 TDs. Malachai Jones and Isaiah Epps each have 100+ receiving yards as well so far this season. On defense, Bryson Powers has a team-high 21 total tackles while Justin Wright has 20 total tackles with a team-high 13 solo tackles. Tyon Davis also has an INT for Tulsa this season.

I get why Tulsa’s favored, getting the FBS rub from bookmakers, but this line should tell you everything you need to know. Tulsa hasn’t looked very good for much of this season so far, especially on the defensive side of the ball. Jacksonville State’s always a tough out regardless of the opponent and they play solid defense that their first two opponents haven’t been able to figure out yet.
