Week 9 Gutsy Gameday Starts
QB: Terrelle Pryor vs Eagles - Pryor has turned into an exciting player to watch and he has a very nice matchup this week against the Eagles. Some fantasy owners may be down on Pryor after his poor outing last week against the Steelers. Despite starting out the game with the longest run by a QB in NFL history, a 93-yard TD rush, Pryor only threw for 88 yards and had two interceptions. The Steelers have a strong defense, and the Eagles do not. Pryor will improve on his passing numbers this week and he will also add plenty of rushing yards as well. Pryor makes for a great bye week replacement for Peyton Manning owners, and Pryor could produce a Peyton-like fantasy score this week.
RB: Donald Brown at Houston - Brown is starting to gain some fantasy football traction, and the Colts will need him to keep rolling this week against a strong Houston defense. The loss of Reggie Wayne combined with the fact the Texans are giving up the 5th most rushing yards per game means the Colts are going to need a strong rushing attack to come out of this game with a win. Richardson has not lived up to the early season trade hype and Brown has quietly out produced Richardson so far this season. Brown is averaging 5.9 yards per carry whereas Richardson is only averaging 3.1 yards per carry. If Richardson stalls early, like he has all season, than the Colts should turn to Brown and he could have a very productive game.

WR: Dwayne Bowe at Buffalo - Bowe has been a major disappointment this year, but fantasy owners should give him a chance to redeem himself this week against the bills. Bowe has had a very down year, but the Chiefs must get him going if they plan on keeping pace with the Broncos in their two upcoming head-to-head matchups. The Bills present the perfect opportunity to get Bowe going because they have one of the worst secondaries in the league. Bowe needs to have a big game to get going, and this week should be good for him. If for some reason Bowe cannot produce against the Bills, then fantasy owners will need to pick up their shovels and dig Bowe a hole in the Fantasy Football Graveyard.
TE: Jared Cook vs Titans - Cook makes for a good play this week based on the revenge factor. Cook felt disrespected by the Titans and now he gets a chance to get revenge on Tennessee this week. Clemens also looked to Cook a lot last week and he should look for Cook again this week. The Rams spread the ball around and Lance Kendricks has cut into the tight end targets in St. Louis, but this is a game that Cook should be really hyped up for and one that he really wants to play well in. Starting Jared Cook has become a very risky move for fantasy owners, but this week a motivated Jared Cook should be worth the risk.
DEF: Raiders vs Eagles - The Raiders have quietly had a very solid defense this year, and with the ailing Eagles offense coming to town, the Raiders make for a nice start this week. The Raiders have had poor rush defenses over the years, but so far this year they are only giving up 89 rushing yards a game. It may be tough for them to shut down McCoy, but the Raiders should get some turnovers and be able to sack Foles a few times. The Raiders have played very well at home this season and that trend should continue this week.
