Tomorrow marks the final day of fantasy football action in 17-week leagues, so the anticipation is running high. With that in mind, let’s take a closer look at some of the noteworthy injury situations out there and see if we can determine what sort of impact they’ll have on your roster this week.

Andre Brown, RB, New York Giants: Brown is looking pretty good for tomorrow’s season finale against the Redskins. Though he was limited in practice on Wednesday, he was out there in full both Thursday and yesterday, earning a probable designation for the game. He’s getting over a concussion.
Brown gets a nice matchup at home against an incoming Washington defense. They’ve given up seven touchdowns to RBs in just the last four games. He’s got a good chance at some solid numbers.

Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys: After losing Tony Romo to a back injury (and subsequent surgery yesterday), the Cowboys can’t afford to have any other big-name offensive playmakers ailing. Things look pretty good with Bryant, though, and after being limited in practice this week he’s listed as probable on the injury report.
Bryant also has a back issue he’s dealing with, but for the record he said there’s no doubt he’ll be out there. He’s an obvious fantasy start, but we’re not too jazzed about his prospects with Kyle Orton under center.

Wes Welker, WR, Denver Broncos: Yesterday, the Broncos confirmed what pretty much everyone suspected: Welker will not be playing tomorrow in the Broncos’ regular-season finale in Oakland. There had been a glimmer of hope this week that he’d be able to return from his concussion issues--he’s been practicing--but the team has decided to play it safe and hold him out until the playoffs.
That does it for Welker in seasonal leagues. Feel free to drop him as you search for a replacement.

Eddie Lacy, RB, Green Bay Packers: Good news for fantasy owners; Bad news for the Bears. Lacy is listed as probable for tomorrow’s winner-take-all game against Chicago. He sat out Wednesday and Thursday due to an ankle injury, but was able to return in a limited capacity yesterday.
This is great news for Lacy’s owners, as the Bears’ bottom-barrel run defense makes for easy pickings. He should have a great stat-line, assuming he’s back to normal health-wise.

Adrian Peterson, RB, Minnesota Vikings: After a wishy-washy week of speculation, it’s looking like Peterson may be a no-go for the Vikings’ season finale against Detroit. He’s listed as doubtful after dealing with injury issues to his groin and foot, and has been limited this week.
There’s still a chance that Peterson appears in the game--it’s the last one at the Metrodome--but don’t expect to get much out of him in the fantasy game. Keep him on the bench.
