14 teams will be in action around the NBA this evening, and all that action will bring about quite a bit of fantasy basketball activity. With that in mind, let’s take our daily look at some of the noteworthy lower-end names out there who should provide some value during tonight’s matchups at a relatively minimal investment.

Trevor Booker, PF, Washington Wizards: Booker seemingly came out of nowhere this week and surged onto the fantasy radar with his game on Wednesday. He put up 10 points, 19 rebounds, an assist, a steal and a block against Dallas, which was his first time hitting double-figures in boards since Dec. 18.
If Booker can hang onto the starting job, he should continue as a nice fantasy contributor who is capable of putting up double-doubles on any given night. The Wizards are at home against Toronto this evening.

Terrence Ross, SG/SF, Toronto Raptors: Speaking of Toronto, they’ve got a player who warrants some attention as well. Ross had a nice game in the surprising win over the Pacers on Wednesday, serving up 18 points, four rebounds, two assists and three steals. He now has double-digit points totals in four of his last five games.
The Raptors are red-hot right now (they’ve won six of their last seven) and any associated players are seeing an up-tick in fantasy value. If you come across Ross, pick him up before tonight’s game.

Kendall Marshall, PG, Los Angeles Lakers: The Lakers are pretty much in desperation mode due to all the injuries on their roster. Now they’ll be making Marshall their starting point guard, so he’s worth a look in fantasy. He’s coming off a 10-point, seven-assist game on Dec. 31.
Here’s what you can expect with Marshall: decent 3-point makes, a handful of assists and maybe 10 points or so each game. The fact that he’s playing against Utah tonight bodes pretty well for his status as well.

Randy Foye, PG/SG, Denver Nuggets: Foye had some tough times in December and fell out of fantasy favor due to his recent benching. He did managed to return to the starting lineup in his last outing, however, so he could be on the way back. Foye managed 14 points, four rebounds and six assists against Philly on Wednesday.
That said, he’s also prone to going cold quickly, so there’s a lot of risk-reward potential here. Foye will take (and hopefully make) threes, and get a few assists each game. If that’s good enough for you, take him before the Memphis game tonight.

Terrence Jones, SF/PF, Houston Rockets: Early this week, Jones posted an ugly game against the Thunder, but he was able to clean up his act on Tuesday. He managed 12 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots against Sacramento, which was his second double-double in a five-game span.
Jones has a nice matchup at home against the Knicks tonight, and with the way New York always gets manhandled inside, he should be able to deliver some nice stats.
