Fantasy Football News: Injury Update 11/8/14
Andrew's Week 10 Fantasy Injury Analysis
November 8, 2014
It’s Saturday, and that means it’s time to start getting those Week 10 fantasy football lineups solidified. We’ve got a fresh crop of injury updates for you this morning, as we do every week, so let’s take a closer look at a few of the notable players out there who are battling various ailments and see what their statuses are looking like for tomorrow.
Tampa Bay has a pretty long injury list this week, but for fantasy purposes we’ll focus on just a couple of players. RB Doug Martin has been labeled doubtful for tomorrow’s game due to his ankle injury, which means we’ll likely be seeing our first glimpse of Rainey-Sims against the Falcons.
Also, Vincent Jackson owners will have to keep an eye on him heading up to game-time. He’s questionable with a foot injury.

Speaking of the Falcons-Bucs matchup, on the other side Harry Douglas will be heading into that one as questionable thanks to that foot issue.
The Bears’ Martellus Bennett wasn’t able to practice yesterday due to a rib issue he sustained during an earlier session this week. He’s listed as questionable for the big matchup against Green Bay tomorrow, but says he will “probably” be out there on the field.
Rashad Jennings owners will have to remain in a holding pattern once again this week, which is really no big surprise. He’s been listed as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Seahawks, which will mark four games that he’s missed due to that sprained MCL. Look for Andre Williams to try and find some running room once again.
Both Fred Jackson and Sammy Watkins will go into tomorrow’s game against Kansas City as questionable. Each player has his own groin injury. Watkins underwent an MRI this week, but said yesterday he didn’t know the results.
If you’re still hiding Bengals TE Tyler Eifert on your roster, you might want to cut the cord. There are some rumors floating around that he may be missing the rest of the season due to his elbow injury.
The Broncos Montee Ball is questionable heading into tomorrow’s game, and he seems to have a pretty good chance of taking the field. That’s the good news for his fantasy owners. The bad news is that he’s pretty much lost his starting job, and will remain a change-of-pace back for the foreseeable future behind Ronnie Hillman. When Ball has been on the field this year (way back then) he hasn’t done much anyway, though.
Tony Romo owners will be making a crucial call on whether or not to start him this week, so let’s check out the situation and see what the decision should be.
First off, he’s been ruled as probable with that back injury and will likely take the field in London against the Jaguars. That said, it would make sense for the team to take it easy on him and lean on the running game for this one, so don’t expect a whole lot. What it boils down to is this: if you’ve got a solid option as a backup, roll with it. If not, you’ll probably have to take your chances here.
