Fantasy Football News: Injury Update 11/22/14
Andrew's Week 12 Fantasy Injury Analysis
November 22, 2014
It’s Saturday, and not only does that mean it’s time to get that fantasy football lineup solidified for tomorrow’s games, but owners will also need to check in on this week’s injury concerns. We’ve got quite a few notable players hurting right now, so let’s take a look at some of the latest updates to see what we can expect tomorrow.
Jordan Cameron is out for the Falcons game; no real surprise there. He’s hoping to return next week, but it’s also worth noting that there’s a chance he may be done for the year thanks to his latest concussion.

The Bengals’ Giovani Bernard has been listed as probable for the Texans game. What kind of workload he’ll be getting alongside Jeremy Hill remains to be seen, however.
Both Alshon Jeffery and Brandon Marshall of the Bears received probable designations yesterday. Jeffery has a hamstring issue and Marshall is working over an ankle injury. They’ll see the Buccaneers at home.
This isn’t necessarily an injury issue, but it could have quite an impact on the fantasy outlook this week. Breakout RB star Jonas Gray of the Patriots was sent home after missing out on yesterday’s practice session. He reportedly overslept due to his phone battery dying.
Considering how strict the Patriots are when it comes to practice and attendance, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a little more reliance on LeGarrette Blount (who just re-signed with the team this week) in tomorrow’s game. We’ll see.
Let’s check out a few notable Dolphins injuries. First off, there’s TE Charles Clay. He was unable to participate at all in Thursday or Friday’s practices thanks to issues with his knee and hamstring. The team ruled him as doubtful for tomorrow’s game against the Broncos. That means Dion Sims will likely see an up-tick in reps.
Also of note, Lamar Miller is questionable, while both Ryan Tannehill and Mike Wallace are probable for the game.
After a bit of a scare this week, both Julio Jones and Devin Hester are probable for this week’s game against the Browns. Steven Jackson shares that designation as well.
The Cardinals’ Larry Fitzgerald missed out on all three practices this week, which casts some serious doubt on his availability for tomorrow in Seattle.
Fitzgerald is dealing with a knee sprain and will be a game-time decision. He hadn’t missed any time this year yet, however.
The Vikings ruled out RB Matt Asiata for tomorrow’s big divisional game against the Packers. He’s got a concussion and hasn’t practiced.
