Fantasy Baseball 2015: Waiver Wire Update 5/26
Fantasy Baseball Daily Leagues: Sleeper Picks and Advice for Upcoming Matchups
May 26, 2015
It’s Tuesday, and around here that means it’s time to check out the fantasy baseball waiver wire. We’ve got our usual grouping of trending names for you to peruse, so let’s take a closer look at the numbers and see who’s making an impact out there.
Mike Bolsinger, SP, Los Angeles Dodgers: Heading up the top of the waiver wire list in a lot of leagues is Bolsinger, who has been pretty sensational this year. He’s riding a three-win streak and coming off an eight-inning, no earned outing against the Padres in which he allowed just one hit.
Bolsinger boasts a stellar 0.71 ERA and 0.79 WHIP right now, and even though it’s obvious he won’t be able to maintain this pace forever, go ahead and grab him before his date with the Cards this week.

Shawn Tolleson, RP, Texas Rangers: Any fantasy owners who still have Tolleson available in their leagues need to pick him up ASAP. He had great series in New York and Boston, posting three saves and just two hits in three appearances. He bagged another one yesterday.
Tolleson seems to have the closer job on lockdown in Texas right now, so he’s probably the best RP option out there. He gets the Indians and Red Sox this week.
Mike Napoli, 1B, Boston Red Sox: Speaking of the Red Sox, Napoli is an intriguing add from out at Fenway. He had a stellar series against the Angels, logging five hits, five runs, four homers and eight RBI in three games. He got two more hits yesterday.
Napoli started out the season as cold as ice, but has since made that ugly start something of a memory. If he can keep it going he’s a nice pickup.
Billy Burns, OF, Oakland Athletics: Burns gained a little bit of attention in the fantasy community through his performance in the Tampa Bay series. He logged four hits, three runs, a homer, two RBI and three steals in those three games. He came up empty yesterday, though.
Burns has been hitting pretty well recently and has given the Athletics some speed atop the order. He’s a nice finesse pickup in fantasy if you can get him.
Nick Hundley, C, Colorado Rockies: Hundley put up a very nice series against the Giants over the weekend, logging five hits, three runs, a homer and three RBI in those three games. He had a hit and a run yesterday.
Hundley’s BA is looking pretty nice these days, and he’s been a reliable power producer--especially for a backstop. He’s a must-have for catcher-needy fantasy teams as the Rockies set out on this road trip.
