Fantasy Football 2015: Week 12 Start/Sit
Who to Start and Who to Sit in Fantasy Football Week 12
November 26, 2015
Week 12 in the NFL will be getting started today, so it’s time to tweak those fantasy football lineups. We’re here to help with our weekly Start-Sit list, so let’s check out some of the borderline plays and see which guys will be having an impact on your roster for better or worse.
USA TODAY Sports
Brian Hoyer, QB, Houston Texans: Hoyer is coming off a concussion which kept him out of Week 11, but he’ll be back out there in Week 12. He’s a popular sleeper pickup this week, since he’s playing the completely inept Saints defense.
Hoyer should be able to plug right back in and put up some good numbers in the Houston offense. The matchup is too good to pass up here.
Javorius Allen, RB, Baltimore Ravens: With Justin Forsett out for the year (broken arm), Allen becomes immediately fantasy-relevant. He’s coming off a nice game as the replacement starter, with 67 rush yards and five grabs for 48 yards.
With Matt Schaub as the new QB, Baltimore is just trying to get out of this disastrous season. Look for Allen to rush a lot.
Travis Benjamin, WR, Cleveland Browns: On the other side of this week’s Ravens-Browns matchup is Benjamin. He’s coming off a 113-yard effort that could have been even better if not for a drop and a lost shoe on a couple of different plays.
Benjamin won’t have Johnny Manziel under center this week, but is still a nice fantasy play since he’s the only big-play threat on that offense.
Matt Ryan, QB, Atlanta Falcons: The Falcons are in dire straits these days. Ryan and company have lost four of their last five, with the latest coming to the woeful Colts. He had three scores in that one, but also three picks.
Ryan and the gang get a solid Vikings defense in Week 12. He’s not been getting any help from his receivers and is in for another crummy day.
Lamar Miller, RB, Miami Dolphins: Miller is coming off a pretty cruddy Week 11, rushing just seven times for 44 yards. He also had two grabs for 11 more.
Normally, the ‘Phins have been getting Miller involved in recent weeks, but he was shut down against Dallas. He’s got a not-so-favorable matchup against the Jets this week, and owners should be in wait-and-see mode with him.
Dez Bryant, WR, Dallas Cowboys: We know you’re not sitting Bryant if you’ve got him, especially now that Tony Romo is back under center. That said, you should still temper your expectations a bit.
Panthers CB Josh Norman will be shadowing Bryant today in a big NFC matchup, and Norman has been great at shutting down receivers this year. We’re not expecting much from Dez this week.
