Fantasy Football Update 9/26/16: Week 4 Waiver Wire Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 4
September 26, 2016
It’s time for our weekly overreaction Monday in the fantasy football world, as owners everywhere flock to the waiver wire to snag the hot new commodities. Let’s check out a few of the noteworthy and trending players right now and see if anyone’s worth adding to your team.
Jordan Howard, RB, Chicago Bears: Howard has been stewing for the past couple of weeks, and he officially came out on Sunday with nine carries for 45 yards against the Cowboys.

Howard also showed off his skills as a pass-catcher, grabbing four for 47 yards on six targets. Howard was already ousting Jeremy Langford before the latter went down (ankle), and now he’s all the more attractive heading into the Lions game.
Terrelle Pryor, WR, Cleveland Browns: We’ve been predicting Pryor to have a big game for the past couple of weeks, and he proved us right in Week 3. He logged 14 targets, eight catches and 144 yards in the air and 21 yards on four carries on the ground.
Pryor has a couple more weeks of increased activity ahead—that is until Josh Gordon returns in Week 5—so use him while you can.
Kyle Rudolph, TE, Minnesota Vikings: Rudolph flirted with double-digits in Week 2, and finally got there against the Panthers on Sunday. He bagged seven catches on 10 targets for 70 yards and a TD.
There’s not much to get excited about out there at TE, but Rudolph is the lone exception. He’s got 26 targets through three games, and is a big part of what Minnesota is doing offensively.
Jamison Crowder, WR, Washington Redskins: Let’s move back over to WR and look at Crowder, who had a nice Week 3 as well. He bagged four catches on seven targets for 78 yards and a TD, his second straight week with a score.
Crowder now has 25 targets, 16 receptions, 175 yards and two scores through just three games. He’s turning into a must-have guy in PPR leagues and will be a big part of the Redskins’ offense moving forward.
Carson Wentz, QB, Philadelphia Eagles: With the Eagles an improbable 3-0 heading into their early bye this week, now’s a good time to grab and stash Wentz in fantasy.
In Week 3, Wentz put up a 23-of-31 line for 301 yards and two touchdowns, which gives him five pass TD for the year. It was a statement game against a good Pittsburgh team, and will get plenty of owners’ eyes looking Wentz’s way.
