Fantasy Football Update 9/29/16: Week 4 Waiver Wire Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 4
September 29, 2016
Week 4 in the NFL will begin tonight, and that means it’s time to check out the fantasy football waiver wire for some last-minute adds. Let’s take a look at a few trending players out there and see if anyone’s right for your team.
Hunter Henry, TE, San Diego Chargers: With Antonio Gates out last week, Henry’s star rose quite a bit in the fantasy community. he bagged five receptions on five targets for 72 yards, but did have a crucial lost fumble late in the game.

Henry looked pretty good in the starring role last week, and will be on the radar again if Gates is out of commission. He’ll face the Saints on Sunday.
Jamison Crowder, WR, Washington Redskins: We’ve talked about Crowder a few times this year, and he’s back on the trending list once again. In his last game, he came up with four receptions on seven targets, turning them into 78 yards and a touchdown.
Crowder is off to a fantastic start this year, with 16 grabs on 25 targets for 175 yards and two touchdowns through three games. He gets a cupcake matchup this weekend against the Browns, too.
Cole Beasley, WR, Dallas Cowboys: Let’s go WR one more time today and check out Beasley. He’s been super consistent this year so far, and is coming off seven receptions on seven targets for 73 yards in Week 3.
That gives Beasley 20 grabs on 25 targets for 213 yards this year. Though he hasn’t found the end zone just yet, it’s only a matter of time. He should remain steady this weekend in San Francisco.
CJ Spiller, RB, Seattle Seahawks: PPR owners in deeper league will want to kick the tires on Spiller. He’s been out of action all year but just yesterday signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks.
Spiller comes into a nice situation in Seattle, as he’ll land right behind Christine Michael due to injury, and should factor in on passing downs. He’ll be in San Diego this weekend and might be worth a look as a streamer.
Dwayne Washington, RB, Detroit Lions: Let’s stick with RB one more time as we finish up today, as Washington has vaulted into the trendier pickups this week. He’s got 16 attempts for 70 yards and a TD so far this year, but sources around the Lions are pegging him for an expanded role against Chicago this weekend.
The Bears are just about in “phone-it-in” mode already, and Detroit won’t have a whole lot of trouble here. Look for a heavy dose of Washington as the Lions protect a lead.
