Fantasy Football Update 11/7/16: Week 10 Waiver Wire Picks
Fantasy Football Sleepers and Waiver Wire Picks for Week 10
November 7, 2016
Week 9 isn’t quite in the books just yet, but it’s never too early to check the fantasy football waiver wire for all those interesting Week 10 adds. Let’s take a look at a few of the trending players out there today so you can get you claim in early.
JJ Nelson, WR, Arizona Cardinals: Before heading into the Week 9 bye, Nelson got a vote of confidence from the coaching staff as he was moved up into the third wide receiver slot ahead of a sketchy Michael Floyd.

Nelson is coming off 12 targets, eight catches, 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns in his last appearance, which hints at the production he could manage when the team gets back to business on Sunday against the 49ers.
Baltimore Ravens Defense: The star of the waiver wire on defense this week will no doubt be the Ravens, who are still available in around 60 percent of leagues out there. Baltimore is coming off 13 points against the STeelers, bagging two sacks, an interception and a TD.
That’s the Ravens’ second TD on defense in as many weeks, and they’ve now got four double-digit performances of at least 12 points on the year. Best yet, they’re playing the Browns on Thursday.
Rishard Matthews, WR, Tennessee Titans: Matthews is another hot WR add on the waiver wire right now, as he managed 10 targets, six catches, 63 yards and two scores against San Diego on Sunday.
In his last five outings, Matthews has hit at least 9.2 fantasy points three times. He’s got five touchdowns in as many games and is worth a look against the Packers in Week 10.
Chris Ivory, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars: For those fantasy owners still scraping the barrel for running backs, Ivory showed some promise this past weekend. He posted 107 yards on 18 carries, but did lose a key fumble that kept him out of the end zone.
It’s nice to see Ivory getting an increased workload, but we’ll have to wait and see if this trend holds.
Jay Cutler, QB, Chicago Bears: Cutler is widely available in over 90 percent of the fantasy leagues out there, and he’s coming off a pretty solid outing against Minnesota with 20-of-31 passing for 252 yards and a TD.
Cutler got quite a bit of help from his supporting cast in the Minnesota game, and he’s got a pretty good-looking matchup against Tampa this week. Those streaming quarterbacks will want to kick the tires here.
