ULTIMATE DAILY FANTASY BASEBALL LEAGUES, FAN DUEL or DRAFT KINGS LINEUP for 4-13-18:
C- Jonathan Lucroy (C Oakland A’s) is 19 for 38 with 3 2B, 2 HR, 5 R, and 8 RBI vs Mike Leake (SP Seattle Mariners) and is coming off a 3 for 5 game on April 11 vs the Los Angeles Dodgers. Please note that Fan Duel only requires you to start a 1B/C so technically you never have to start a catcher.
1B- Justin Bour (1B Miami Marlins) is 2 for 2 with 1 2B and 2 RBI vs Chad Kuhl (SP Pittsburgh Pirates). Kuhl sometimes struggles on the road and Bour is a very streaky hitter who just had a 2 HR game on April 10.
2B- Ian Kinsler (2B Los Angeles Angels) hit a HR on April 12 and is 6 for 17 with 2 HR, 6 R, and 2 RBI vs Jason Hammel (SP Kansas City Royals)
SS- Corey Seager (SS Los Angeles Dodgers) hit a HR on April 11 and is 6 for 11 with 1 2B, 2 HR, 6 R, and 4 RBI vs Zack Greinke (SP Arizona Diamondbacks)
3B- Kyle Seager (3B Seattle Mariners) is a very streaky hitter and is heating up at the plate lately. Seager is only 1 for 5 with 1 2B and a run vs Andrew Triggs (SP Oakland A’s) but Triggs usually struggles vs left handed hitters and we’ve seen Seager hit in these torrid streaks before. Ride Seager’s hot streak while you can!
OF- Justin Upton (OF Los Angeles Angels) is white hot with another 3 for 5 day on April 12 and is 11 for 43 with 2 2B, 2 HR, 5 R, and 8 RBI vs Jason Hammel (SP Kansas City Royals)
OF- Mike Trout (OF Los Angeles Angels) is also white hot with another HR on April 12 and is 5 for 16 with 1 HR, 4 R, and 2 RBI vs Jason Hammel (SP Kansas City Royals)
OF- Jackie Bradley (OF Boston Red Sox) is having a rough start to the season but is 6 for 16 with 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 6 R, and 3 RBI vs Chris Tillman (SP Baltimore Orioles)
U- Domingo Santana (OF Milwaukee Brewers) is heating up and is facing Steven Matz (SP New York Mets). Santana had 30 HR last year and the power hasn’t come yet this season but I have a hunch it’s coming soon as his hits are piling up lately.
SP- Gerrit Cole (SP Houston Astros) vs the Texas Rangers. The entire Rangers roster has a combined 2 hits vs Cole and a combined .080 batting average. Elvis Andrus (SS Texas Rangers) has a double but he’s out with a fractured elbow and Joey Gallo (1B/3B Texas Rangers) has a solo HR vs Cole. If you can’t afford Cole for budget purposes, then I would go Luke Weaver (SP St. Louis Cardinals) vs the Reds.
