We make our way to North Carolina for the Wells Fargo Championship, and it’s time to put together a DraftKings lineup that has a chance to cashout. With a salary of $50,000 and six slots to fill, here goes.
Rob Schumacher-USA TODAY Sports
Tony Finau, $8,700 - Tony Finau has finished in the top-25 each of his last four events and has an average finished of 22nd place in two appearances at the Wells Fargo Championship. Finau also has a combined 151 fantasy points in his last two events. He’s worth a play with this rather decent price.
Brian Harman, $7,900 - Brian Harman has gotten under 70 fantasy points in his last three events, but he won the Wells Fargo Championship last year and had a top-10 finish in 2013. We’re getting Harman at a rather cheap price, and this is an event that should get him back o track given his history.
Daniel Berger, $8,000 - Daniel Berger has gotten 75 or more fantasy points in two of his last three events and hasn’t missed a cut back-to-back yet this season, so we should be fine here. Berger also has an average finish of 22.5 in two appearances at the Wells Fargo Championship. The 25-year-old is a strong play given this rather cheap price.
Ryan Moore, $8,500 - Ryan Moore has gotten 77 or more fantasy points in three of his last four events and has finished 18th or better in three of his last five appearances at the Wells Fargo Championship. Needless to say, it should be another good week for you if you include Moore in your fantasy lineup.
Lucas Glover, $6,800 - If you’re looking to be different and have a true dark horse in your lineup, Lucas Glover is worth a look at this cheap price. Glover has tons of experience in this tournament, which includes a win in 2011 and a runner-up finish in 2009. Glover also had a top-10 finish here in 2016. Currently, Glover hasn’t missed a cut in six straight events and is fresh off a top-25 finish at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans. Glover is worth the risk this week.
Patrick Reed, $9,700 - Patrick Reed is coming off a 137 point performance at the Masters and has given you at least 94 points in each of his last three events. Reed has also never missed a cut at the Wells Fargo Championship and is coming off his best performance here last year with a 12th place finish and a -5 to par.
Remaining Salary: $400
