This is just my initial lineup based on the information we have available in the morning. Injuries play a huge roll in our DFS lineups so please come back later! If it’s a real last-minute update in which I don’t have time to update the website, I’ll post it on my Twitter (@BrettCU05) so make sure you hit that “follow” button!

Key Injuries/Inactive Players
Anthony Davis (Elbow) – GTD; Devin Booker (Hamstring) – Out; Elfrid Payton (Ankle) – Out; Kris Dunn (Knee) – Out; Will Barton (Groin) – Out; Bobby Portis (Knee) – Out; Julius Randle (Foot) – Out; Andrew Wiggins (Quadriceps) – GTD; DeMarre Carroll (Ankle) – Out; Derrick Favors (Knee) – GTD; Isaiah Thomas (Hip) – Out; Jae Crowder (Ankle) – GTD; Isaiah Canaan (Ankle) – Out; Jimmy Butler (Rest) – Out; Jeff Teague (Knee) - Out
We’re making a bunch of changes from our initial lineup this morning as it looks like as of right now that, Anthony Davis is a go, both Jimmy Butler & Jeff Teague are listed as out, and both Devin Booker & Isaiah Canaan are out.
We’re going to be seeing a lot of lineups tonight that feature both Elie Okobo & Tyus Jones, who both have great value at the PG position at their min prices. I was tempting to also go this route, however, I’m going to take a chance and fade the more popular of those options in Tyus Jones. This move could come back to hurt me on FanDuel, however, I honestly like the upside of Elie Okobo more after he posted a stat line of 18 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists in 30 minutes against Oklahoma City. Okobo has an impressive usage rate of about 24% in his last game and I just like his matchup against the Spurs than going with Jones against the Jazz. In my other spot, I just can’t resist not paying up for Stephen Curry in his matchup agianst the Pelicans who rank 30th in the NBA vs. PG and have no one that can stop Curry. Curry put up 51.1 FanDuel points in just 24 minutes against the Bulls on Monday and I think he’ll go of for 60+ points tonight.
I wasn’t planning on paying up at the SG position this morning, however, with Anthony Davis playing, I actually like Jrue Holiday even more. Holiday will be the primary ball handler for the Pelicans tonight with Payton out and was outstanding against Golden State last season, as in his 4 games against the Warriors, he averaged 24.0 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.5 spg. With Jimmy Butler out, I really like Donovan Mitchell tonight. Minnesota is just an absolute mess at the moment and even with Butler, the Timberwolves have allowed 120+ points in each of their last two games. Mitchell comes into this game averaging 26.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 4.8 apg, & 1.0 spg on the road this season and as I don’t see anyone in the Minnesota backcourt being able to guard Mitchell, I think he is in for a big night.
We’re keeping with Mikal Bridges as our “punt/low-scoring” option of the day as he should see at least 20+ minutes and has some upside and at our other SF spot, we’re going to go with TJ Warren who has a reasonable price tag of just $5,100. Warren has a great match-up agianst the Spurs that have been hurt by SF position his season and with the injuries to Booker & Canaan, Warren is going to have to produce on the offensive end if the Suns stand any chance in this one. Warren should be getting up 15 or so shots tonight as we saw agianst Golden State earlier this season, Warren get put up solid stat lines as he had 27 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists & 2 steals in just 24 minutes.
I’m going to continue to roll with the Suns for value tonight as I’m staying with Josh Jackson as he just has too much upside with the usage he should see tonight at $3,700. At my other PF spot, I wanted to get more exposure to the NO/GSW game and I’m going with Draymond Green at what I feel is a reasonable price at $7,600. Green lives for matchups against the best and he’ll get his wish tonight with Anthony Davis. Green is averaging 7.4 ppg, 6.4 rpg, 8.1 apg, & 2.3 spg this season and as this should be a high scoring game, I think Green is going to notch his first triple-double of the season.
I wanted to get some exposure to the DEN/CHI game and way not spend up for Nikola Jokic. The Bulls don’t have anyone in their front court that can remotely challenge the Joker, especially with Bobby Portis injured. Jokic is averaging 21.5 ppg, 10.3 rpg, 6.8 apg, 1.2 spg, & 1.0 bpg and I think he is going to register a monster triple-double tonight.
