We have a 6-game slate for Friday, November 2nd and let’s take a look at the games, key injuries, and our initial DraftKings lineup.
Here is my confirmed lineup for the night! If it’s a real last-minute update, in which I don’t have the time to update the website, I’ll post it on my Twitter (@BrettCU05) so make sure you hit that “follow” button!

PG – Stephen Curry (GS) - $10,300
SG – Tim Hardaway Jr. (NY) - $7,100
SF – Royce O’Neale (UTH) - $3,300
PF – Draymond Green (GSW) - $6,900
C – Steven Adams (OKC) - $7,100
G – Tyus Jones (MIN) – 3,700
F – Tobias Harris (LAC) - $7,300
Utility – Terrence Ross (ORL) - $4,200
In the end, I decided to pay up for Stephen Curry (PG) as the over/under in the MIN/GS game continues to skyrocket and I just needed to have some decent exposure from the Warriors in my lineup. Curry has come out of the gates this season on fire as he is averaging 33.0 ppg, 5.9 rpg, 5.0 apg & 1.2 spg in 34.0 mpg. Curry loves entertaining the home crowd at ORACLE Arena as he is averaging 37.3 ppg & 7.3 apg at home this season and as neither Derrick Rose or Tyus Jones will be able to defend him, I think Curry goes off tonight.
We’re sticking with Tim Hardaway Jr. (G) from our initial lineup from this morning as he is the main offensive weapon for the Knicks and comes into this game averaging 26.0 ppg, 3.3 apg, & 3.0 rpg in 33.4 mpg this season. Dallas ranks 29th against the SG position and we love the fact that Hardaway Jr. has been averaging 28.6 ppg over his last three games while getting up an average of about 20.0 shots per game. Hardaway Jr has about 30.0% usage rate of the Knicks and if his shot is falling tonight, could have a 50 DraftKings point night.
Royce O’Neale (SF) is in line to see a solid uptick in minutes with both Donovan Mitchell and Alec Burks out of the lineup tonight with the extra run, I think should be able to hit value tonight. O’Neale has been averaging between 16-18 minutes over his last 4 games and showed last year when he was getting major minutes due to some Jazz injuries, that he could put together a solid overall stat line. It’s hard to expect a monster game from O’Neale however, if he gets us 25-30 DraftKings points, I’ll be happy.
At the power forward position, we’re going to go back to Draymond Green (PF) who I just feel is still underpriced on DraftKings at just $6,900. Green comes into this game averaging 8.3 ppg, 7.3 rpg, 8.2 apg, & 2.1 spg in 31.4 mpg and is also coming off his best game of the season agianst the Pelicans in which he posted 16 points, 14 rebounds, 8 assists, and a block. Green has a solid matchup against a Timberwolves team that ranks just 26th against the PF position and as Green always has a solid change to get us the extra points for a triple-double, I like him tonight.
I didn’t really want to get away from Clint Capela and is solid matchup agianst the Brooklyn Nets, however, I’m not disappointed switching to Stephen Adams (C) who has a solid matchup agianst the Wizards. The Wizards rank just 26th against the center position this season and although they will have Dwight Howard back, I’m not too worried about that matchup as I just don’t see Howard going for that long as his back is still bothering him. Adams is averaging 13.2 ppg, 11.8 rpg, 1.3 apg, 1.8 spg, & 1.3 bpg in an impressive 34.5 mpg this season. Adams production hasn’t taken too much of a hit since Westbrook is back and as the Wizards play at a fast pace, I think Adams is going to be able to get us 40+ DraftKings points tonight.
Tyus Jones (G) was a huge bust on Wednesday night for a lot of teams, but know that he is confirmed playing, I don’t think there is any reason we go against him just because Rose just dropped 50 points. Teague is out which means Jones should get some decent minutes and although Rose is going to be the more popular pick, he is going to lose a lot of that usage % that we saw on Wednesday to Jimmy Butler who is back. Rose has a history of injury problems that we all know of so I’m hesitant that they are going to want to push him for another 40+ minutes if they don’t have too and as Jones has shown in the past that he can put up decent DFS numbers and would get a lot of time if the Warriors blow the doors open, I like him for his $3,700 tonight.
Tobias Harris (F) is having a career season as the 7-year veteran out of Tennessee comes into this matchup agianst the Magic averaging 21.3 ppg, 8.5 rpg, & 1.9 apg in 34.0 mpg. Harris will have a little more motivation coming into this matchup as he is going up agianst his former team, the Orlando Magic. Harris has put up at least 13 shots in every game this season and as he is shooting an incredible 51.2% from the field on the year, I think he’ll have a solid game agianst the Magic tonight.
To help pay up for Curry, we needed to go with value at the Utility spot and I think we have it with Terrance Ross (Utility). Ross is seeing a respectable 23.9 mpg this season and he should see at least that tonight as Johnathan Simmons was just ruled out tonight with a wrist injury. Ross has put up decent numbers this season as he is averaging 12.0 ppg, 2.0 apg, 2.4 rpg & 1.3 spg and certainly has no issue putting up shots as he has averaged 14.3 shots per game over his last three contests. Ross is a decent three-point shooter and if he gets on a roll tonight, he can get us 30 + DraftKings points.
