DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA Fanduel Lineup, Picks, & Advice – 11/4/18 – EARLY SLATE
It’s a busy Sunday with NBA & NFL and Sports Chat Place is getting geared up for the College Basketball season that starts on Tuesday.
I’m going to be posting lineups for NBA today however, as time is very limited with everything that is going on, I’m just posting the images today with a very short description of why I’m going with this team!
We have an exciting 3-game slate this afternoon on FanDuel that starts at 3:30pm that is filled with some of the NBA’s top talent.
3:30pm – Sacramento at Milwaukee (Spread: MIL -10; O/U 236)
6:00pm – Philadelphia at Brooklyn (Spread: PHI -4; O/U 223.5)
6:00pm – New York at Washington (Spread: WAS -7.5; O/U 224.5)
Key Injuries/Inactive Players
Otto Porter Jr. (Toe) – GTD; Bogdan Bogdanovic (Knee) – Out; DeMarre Carroll (Ankle) – Out; Kevin Knox (Out) – Ankle; Troy Williams (Ankle) – GTD; Courtney Lee (Neck) – Out;
PG – Ben Simmons (PHI) - $9,500
PG – De’Aaron Fox (SAC) - $8,500
SG – Allonzo Trier (NY) - $4,000
SG – Damyean Dotson (NY) - $5,400
SF – Kelly Oubre Jr. (WAS) - $4,400
SF – Giannis Antetokounmpo (MIL) - $11,800
PF – Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (BKN) - $5,300
PF – Dario Saric (PHI) - $4,800
C – Dwight Howard (WAS) - $6,200
Ben Simmons didn’t have a shot going for him yesterday against the Pistons, however, still had a decent game as he recorded 5 steals and as he only played 29 minutes, I think he is going to bounce back with a huge game agianst the Brooklyn Nets that rank just 24th agianst the position.
I’m not expecting De’Aaron Fox to have a game like we recently saw against Atlanta, however, I needed to get some exposure to the Kings and I just don’t see Eric Bledsoe being able to slow Fox down.
The SG position has the most flexibility/value outside of the top tier options and as I wanted to spend up elsewhere (PG & SF) I decided to with Allonzo Trier & Damyean Dotson. Trier has put up back to back 20 point performances and Dotson has flashed some great upside as he is averaging 30+ mins per game over his last 6 games. We all know that Washington can’t defend so I think there is some great value there.
We need to keep an eye out on Otto Porter Jr. who is questionable with a toe injury as Oubre Jr. becomes almost a must play if he is out. Even if Porter Jr. can give it a go, Oubre Jr. continues to see a good number of minutes and has averaged over 25+ FanDuel points in his last 4 games.
I’m paying up for the Greek Freak as the Kings play at a fast pace and there is really no one on the Kings that can stop him. There is some risk of a blowout in this game but if the Kings can keep this one somewhat close, I think Antetokounmpo can go off for a 60-70 point game.
The PF position is not the greatest in the afternoon spot and I’m going with Rondae Hollis-Jefferson & Dario Saric. Hollis-Jefferson has been pretty consistent since returning from injury that saw him miss the first three games of the season and as I think the Nets will use Hollis-Jefferson a bit more as they are going up against Embiid, I like him today as he does have 30+ point upside. Saric has really struggled this season but as his price has dipped under $5,000, I think he has some great value today on the 2nd half of a back-to-back in which he saw just 22 minutes yesterday.
Howard looked decent in his first action of the season as he put down 20 points in just 23 minutes of action. Howard is not on any minutes restriction and just has too much upside at this price.
