DFS – Fantasy Football – DraftKings NFL Sunday Night– GB @ NE – 11/4/18
Update (7:53 PM) - Made some updates to the lineup! Image is updated! Good Luck!
We have an outstanding matchup tonight with the Green Bay Packers & New England Patriots facing off at Gillette Stadium this Sunday Night.
Let’s checkout who we have going tonight for our DraftKings Lineup!
MVP – Aaron Rodgers (GB) - $17,400 – It’s a must win game for the Packers and because of that, I’m going with Aaron Rodgers as my MVP slot today. Rodgers is putting together another solid season as he currently is posting a QBR of 102.9 and comes into this primetime matchup completing 61.3% of his passes for 13 TD & 1 INT while averaging 326.1 passing yds/g. The Patriots rank just 25th in NFL vs. the pass this season so Rodgers should be able to find some matchups to exploit and as I’m sure that Rodgers will be wanting to outduel Brady, I expect a big night from Rodgers.
FLEX – DaVante Adams (GB) - $10,200 – As I have Rodgers as my MVP, I might as well pay up for Adams also as he is the main receiving threat for the Packers. Adams has been an absolute monster over the past three weeks as he has 24 receptions for 405 yards and 3 TD’s. On the season, Adams has 52 receptions (78 targets) for 690 yards and 6 TD’s and as the Patriots pass defense is nothing to write home about, I think Adams can have another big week for the Packers.
FLEX – Josh Gordon (NE) - $7,400 – I didn’t have enough money to pay up for James White however, I’m ok taking a chance on Josh Gordon as he has as much upside as anyone on the Patriots. Gordon comes into this game with 18 receptions on the season for 283 yards & 2 TD’s and it’s fully expected to see those numbers improve as he is now on the field for basically all the offensive snaps for the Patriots. Gordon topped the 100-yard receiving mark two weeks against the Bears and as this game has the potential to become a shootout, I like having Gordon on my team. Gordon is questionable with a hamstring injury at the moment, but it’s looking like he is a go for tonight.
FLEX – Marquez Valdes-Scantling (GB) - $7,400 – Geronimo Allison has already been listed as out which means that Marquez Valdes-Scantling should be seeing plenty of action on the offensive end for the Packers tonight. Valdes-Scantling still makes rookie mistakes here and there but there is not denying the talent and it seems that him and Rodgers have built a pretty good connection as over the past three weeks, Valdes-Scantling has 12 receptions for 216 yards and 2 TD’s. The Patriots will be focused on trying to slow down DeVante Adams which I think will open up some opportunities for Valdes-Scantling on the other end.
FLEX – Aaron Jones (GB) - $5,400 – Rodgers is good enough to still produce against a Bill Belichick defense that will obviously be geared to slow down Rodgers however, I think this opens up a great opportunity for Aaron Jones to have big game in the Green Bay backfield. Jones is coming off a solid game agianst the Rams in which he rushed for 86 yards and a TD on just 12 carries and looks like he has clearly established himself as the lead RB in Green Bay. The Patriots are nothing more than league average agianst the run and as I expect that Patriots won’t have too many people in the box to slow down Jones, he is a solid play for a reasonable price tonight.
FLEX – Chris Hogan (NE) - $3,800 – Chris Hogan isn’t having his best season for the Patriots as he has just 23 receptions on the season for 333 yards and 2 TD’s however, I like him as a low-cost option tonight against the Packers. I think Hogan is a better fantasy target when the Patriots have all their weapons as this allows Hogan to draw more one-on-one matchups. Hogan and the Patriots had a tough matchup agianst an underrated Bills defense last week however, did see 7 targets the week before agianst Chicago which he turned into 6 receptions for 63 yards and I wouldn’t be surprised to see Hogan being active tonight in what could be a high scoring game.
