DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA DraftKings Initial Lineup – 12/6/18
Updated (7:03 PM) - I'm going to roll with the Suns again and just hope that they can provide a bit more production than what we saw eariler this week. We sepend up on Lillard, Harden, and Gobert and we're hoping for some value with Turner as he should see some more time with CJ McCollum. Image is updated! Good Luck!
Hi Everyone! Here is my initial lineup for today’s NBA DraftKings “Featured” contests that start at 8:00pm tonight!
As I’ve been doing more lately, I’m just providing for the most part an image of the team in the morning as we are generally making many changes to the actual lineup depending on the injury news that comes throughout the day.
It’s a tough three-game slate tonight as we have two games (NY/BOS & PHO/POR) in which the home teams are currently favored by 13+ points and a Houston/Utah matchup that has the lowest over/under.
I honestly think but games will be blowouts as I’m pretty sure Boston will want some revenge after the Knicks defeated the Celtics a couple weeks ago by a 117-109 margin in Boston. Even with the blowout potential, I think Irving & Hayward are the best plays for the Celtics and for DraftKings, I currently have Irving going.
As for the Knicks, I think with Burke out, Mudiay is almost a chalk play. I’m hesitant about rostering anyone else from the Knicks currently.
PHO/POR is a tough one to call. Phoenix once against has a bunch of value however, as we saw earlier this week in their game agianst Sacramento, this team without Booker & Warren looked like it couldn’t beat a D-III College Team. I think we still do need to get some value and if the four players I like the most include Melton, Bridges, Crawford & Holmes. For DraftKings, I currently have Bridges, Crawford, and Holmes going however, I’m sure this will chance as in the end, I think I’m only going to roster two Suns players at most.
I’m currently waiting the status of CJ McCollum who is currently questionable with an ankle injury. As I think Portland will play it safe knowing that they shouldn’t have too hard of a time getting victory against the Suns, even if McCollum can’t go, I currently have Evan Turner in the lineup as he could get the start tonight.
I spend most of my salary in the Houston/Utah matchup as we’re currently spending up for Harden and Capela. I’m debating if I want to get Mitchell in here also as probably need some exposure to the Jazz. I’ll reevaluate this later.
Check back later for updates.
