DFS – Fantasy Basketball – NBA DraftKings Lineup – Main Slate – 12/7/18
Updated (6:04 PM) - Hi Everyone! With Embiid out, I decided to switch some things around and get both Simmons & Butler in the lineup. We replaced Embiid with Turner who has been playing real well tonight and might be needed a bit more with Sabonis already ruled out. I also decided to go with JaMychal Green who has been hitting 6x-7x value as of late and is in a nice high-scoring matchup agianst the Pelicans. Image is updated. Good luck!
Hi Everyone! Here is my initial lineup for tonight’s NBA DraftKings “Featured Slate” that starts at 7:00pm.
As I’ve been doing lately, I’m just providing for the most part and image of my team as of the morning. We generally will make many changes throughout the day once injury news is released and I will provide an updated lineup around 6:30pm.
We’ll lead off our team with Denver’s Jamal Murray in his matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Murray has seen 40+ minutes in his last two games and should continue to see those types of minutes with Garry Harris out due to injury. Murray can be a streaky shooter, but has poured in 52 points in his last two games and as he put up a 50 DraftKings point performance agianst Orlando on Wednesday, I think he hits 5x-7x value tonight.
I wanted some action with the Bucks and going with Malcolm Brogdon as I’m surprised his price is still under $6,000 considering he is seeing 31.8 mpg, putting up about 13 shots a game, and is shooting 56.3% from the field & 61.5% from beyond the arc. Brogdon has hit 5x value in 5 of his last 6 games and should have another solid night tonight.
Buddy Hield is just a pure scorer as in just 17 minutes agianst the Suns (would have seen more time if it wasn’t an absolute blowout) he put up 20 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, and a steal. The matchup is almost as good tonight for Hield and the Cavaliers and I can see a big night from the Oklahoma product if his shot is falling.
Rudy Gay came out of nowhere on Wednesday night and put up 31 points, 7 rebound performance agianst the Lakers in which he took 21 shots. Gay will be facing the same Lakers team tonight at home and although I don’t think we can expect another huge performance, I think he’ll hit value.
I’m paying up for Embiid as I don’t what Andre Drummond said to him, but Embiid brings his “A” game when he is going agianst the Detroit center. Embiid hasn’t put up any huge games over the past week, but has put up two 60+ DraftKings point performances against the Pistons already this season and I expect another big performance tonight.
I’m taking a bit of a chance with a value pick in Brooklyn’s Joe Harris, but I was very encouraged that after returning from an injury that kept out for three games, that he was put right back into the starting lineup and saw 34 minutes of action. Harris was solid with those minutes, putting up 19 points & 7 rebounds, and as they’ll need more from him with Chris LeVert out, I think he has some nice upside at this price.
Hassan Whiteside is out tonight so we’re inserting Bam Adebayo who had shown on many occasions this season that he can be a very productive DFS player when he sees the minutes. The upside against the Suns is going to be hard to pass up on and I expect that Adebayo will be a chalk play tonight.
I’m still buying in on Lauri Markkanean which his price sits below $7,000 as it’s look clear that he will be the focal point in the Bulls offense as in just his 2nd game of the season, he put up a double-double with 21 points & 10 rebounds on 24 shots. Markkanean price is only going to climb and as he is already starting and seeing 30+ mins, I’m going to enjoy it while it lasts.
Check back later for updates!
