Hi Everyone! Here is my initial lineup for tonight’s NBA DraftKings “Featured Slate” that starts at 7:00pm.
As I’ve been doing lately, I’m just providing for the most part and image of my team as of the morning. We generally will make many changes throughout the day once injury news is released and I will provide an updated lineup around 6:30pm.
This is going to be an interesting 8-game slate tonight as we have a bunch of question marks right now in terms of injury that will most likely change our current squad before tip-off.
Between the trade of George Hill yesterday, along with the fact that Rodney Hood went down with injury, I’m initially liking the stack of Collin Sexton & Alec Burks in their solid matchup agianst a Wizards team that hasn’t defended anyone this season. These two combined for over 70+ DraftKings points last night and I wouldn’t be surprised if they go for a higher total tonight.
I wanted to get some action against the Cavaliers and I’m currently rostering Otto Porter Jr. who has started to look like the Otto Porter Jr. of old as he has seen about 37 minutes per game over the Wizards last three games and has posted at least 29.75 DraftKings points in each one. We’ll want to keep an eye on the John Wall tonight to make sure he plays, as if he doesn’t, we might want to get Beal in their also.
I’m paying up for LeBron because it’s LeBron at the same time, I can see myself pivoting to a more affordable option if I want to spend up elsewhere.
Will Paul Millsap out with a broken toe, Trey Lyles & Nikola Jokic have great potential tonight agianst an Atlanta Hawks team that has struggled against opposing big men all season. Lyles is a great “punt” play tonight as he should see a bunch of minutes and will Millsap & Harris out (Murray is also a GTD), Jokic’s usage should be really high tonight!
I’m going to roll with Bogdan Bogdanovic who since returning from injury has been very solid, averaging 15.4 ppg, 3.3 apg, and 3.1 rpg in 13 games this season. Bogdanovic is seeing some solid minutes off the bench and with Oladipo out, the Pacers have been below average defending the SG position.
We’ll have to make sure that Hassan Whiteside is out again, however, if he is, we’re going to go Bam Adebayo who was a monster last night (22 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 1 block) and has a great matchup agianst the Clippers.
Check back later for updates!
