DFS – NFL – FanDuel – NFL Lineup – Main Slate – 9/13/2020

It is the first week of the NFL season and we have some outstanding action to kick off the season as we look at our Daily Fantasy NFL lineup for FanDuel’s “Main Slate” that starts at 1:00pm!

This is a cash lineup that I make to enter 50/50 contests, however, I do still play these lineups in the big GPP’s just in case it really goes off for a huge day.

For our lineups, we are going to start off by looking at the Los Angeles Chargers and get a nice value stack with Tyrod Taylor, Austin Ekeler, and Jalen Guyton.

Tyrod Taylor takes over as the starting QB with the departure of Phillip Rivers and I think he brings some of the best value on the slate at the QB position with just a $7,000. Taylor has shown in the past that he can get it done with both his arm and legs and I like his matchup agianst a Cincinnati team that struggled both agianst the pass & run last season.

Austin Ekeler is not the clear-cut lead back for the Chargers this season with Melvin Gordon now in Denver and Ekeler could be in for a huge season with his ability to be a duel-threat out of the backfield.

Jalen Guyton is going to be my value play of today’s slate is going to the speedy Jalen Guyton who has been working with the 1st team during the preseason and I will product at least two big chunk plays for the Chargers today.

Pairing with Ekeler at RB, we are spending up on the Panthers Christian McCaffrey who will once again, should be the top fantasy RB in the league this season.

Rounding out our WR’s, we are going to pay up for Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers and get some decent value with Terry McLaurin of the Washington Redskins.

Davante Adams looks healthy going into this season and as he is the top option for Aaron Rodgers in the Green Bay passing attack, I think he see 15-20 attempts today and ends up with a monster game against the Vikings.

Terry “F1” McLaurin is coming off an incredible rookie season for the Redskins and I think he can have a big game agianst a Philadelphia secondary that certainly has some question marks.

At TE today, we are going with Atlanta’s Hayden Hurst. The former 1st round draft pick out of South Carolina is certainly talented enough to be a top-10 TE in the NFL and he couldn’t have asked to be put in a more perfect situation as he will be know the top TE target for Matt Ryan who we know likes to target his TE’s.

At the Flex position, we are paying up for Cincinnati’s Joe Mixon. Mixon was outstanding towards the end of last season, putting up at least 136 rushing yards in three of his last four games and as he has the ability to do damage in the passing game also, I expect a big game from Mixon against the Chargers.

For our defense, we are going to go with the Indianapolis Colts as they have a great matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars who look like they could be in for a long season on the offensive end.
