Draftkings Best AIG Women’s Open DFS Picks 7/31/25

Breaking down the best Draftkings picks for this week's 2025 AIG Women's Open.

This week, Draftkings presents golf fans with the 2025 AIG Women’s Open. Let’s take a look at this week’s major championship from a DFS perspective.

Before I dive into my DFS player selections for the 2025 AIG Women’s Open let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s major championship.

Where will the AIG Women’s Open be played?

The 2025 AIG Women’s Open will be played at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 6,580 yards.

Lydia Ko won the 2024 AIG Women’s Open with a cumulative four round score of seven under par.

Will the AIG Women’s Open have a traditional cut after two rounds?

The AIG Women’s Open will have a field of 144 competitors to start the tournament on Thursday. This event will have a cut after the completion of the first two rounds. The top 65 golfers and ties will make the cut.

2025 AIG Women’s Open Key Player Statistics

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

AIG Women’s Open Draftkings DFS Picks

Minjee Lee $10,000

Since the beginning of January, Minjee Lee has played 14 tournaments on the LPGA Tour. In those 14 events just mentioned, Lee has tallied eight top 15 finishes, including a win at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship last month.

Minjee Lee also checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Lee is currently ranked second in overall strokes gained (2.54), 20th in strokes gained tee to green (1.05), 12th in strokes gained off the tee (0.68), fifth in total birdies made (203) and fourth in strokes gained putting (1.21) on the LPGA Tour.

What did we learn from that data just presented? Clearly, Minjee Lee is currently playing at a high-level. With that said, I fully expect that trend to continue this week.

It should also be noted that Minjee Lee has played well at this week’s major championship in the past. More specifically, Lee finished fourth at the 2022 AIG Women’s Open.

Charley Hull $8,500

Charley Hull has amassed three top 21 finishes in her last four events played on the LPGA Tour, including a 12th place result at the 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship six weeks ago.

Hull is currently ranked ninth overall strokes gained (1.64), 17th in strokes gained tee to green (1.17), 14th in strokes gained off the tee (0.67) and 16th in bogey avoidance (13.73%) on the LPGA Tour.

Additionally, Hull finished second at the 2023 AIG Women’s Open.

Leona Maguire $7,900

Leona Maguire arrives at this week’s major championship on the heels of three consecutive top 19 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a seventh-place finish at the 2025 Amundi Evian Championship earlier this month. Maguire also finished fourth at the 2022 AIG Women’s Open.

Alice Hewson $6,200

Last week, Alice Hewson fired a final round 69 at the 2025 ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open en route to a rather impressive tenth-place finish.

Additional golfers I like to play well at this week’s 2025 AIG Women’s Open (Draftkings price noted): Lottie Wood $10,800: Nelly Korda $10,300: Esther Henseleit $7,700: Rio Takeda $7,900.
