Draftkings Best Memorial Tournament DFS Picks 5/29/25

Breaking down the best Draftkings picks for this week's 2025 Memorial Tournament.

This week, the PGA Tour travels to Ohio for the 2025 Memorial Tournament. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a Draftkings perspective.

Before I dive into my Draftkings player selections for this tournament let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2025 Memorial Tournament.

Where will the Memorial Tournament be played?

The 2025 Memorial Tournament will be played at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. The golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 7,569 yards.

Will the Memorial Tournament have a traditional cut?

The 2025 Memorial Tournament will have a limited field of 72 golfers to begin the event on Thursday. Upon the completion of two rounds of competitive play the top 50 golfers and ties will make the cut and move onto the third round. The remaining players will miss the cut.

Memorial Tournament Key Player Statistics

I wanted to emphasize that the purpose of this article is not to provide an exact DFS lineup.

Having stated that, this article will provide multiple player options in an effort to assist the reader in generating a unique lineup that will hopefully have the potential to win a DraftKings GPP (guaranteed prize pool) contest!

2025 Memorial Tournament Draftkings Picks

Scottie Scheffler $13,300

Scottie Scheffler arrives at this week’s event on the heels of six consecutive top eight finishes on the PGA Tour, including two wins (2025 CJ Cup Byron Nelson: 2025 PGA Championship).

Scheffler certainly checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Let me be more specific. Scheffler is currently ranked first in strokes gained approach (1.295), first in par four scoring average (3.89), first in overall strokes gained (2.569), third in GIR (greens in regulation-70.45%), second in strokes gained off the tee (0.755) and first in bogey avoidance (10.35%) on the PGA Tour.

It is noteworthy that Scottie Scheffler has played well at the Muirfield Village Golf Club previously. Scheffler won the 2024 Memorial Tournament.

Full disclosure, I backed Scottie Scheffler last week. Why am I backing him again? Scottie is the type of golfer that can win multiple events in a short time period of time. Having stated that, I don’t want to get off the Scheffler train just yet. After all, the man is the number one golfer in the world for a reason.

Viktor Hovland $8,900

Viktor Hovland has compiled four top 28 finishes in his last five tournaments played on the PGA Tour, including a win at the 2025 Valspar Championship in March.

Additionally, Hovland pops off the page for me when it comes to previous course/event history. Since 2022, Hovland has played this week’s PGA Tour event three times. In those three tournaments just noted, Hovland amassed two top 15 finishes, including a win at the 2023 Memorial Tournament.

Corey Conners $9,100

The talented Canadian as compiled six 11 finishes in his last eight events played on the PGA Tour, including a third-place result at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Invitational earlier this season. Conners also finished 13th at the 2023 Memorial Tournament.

Conners is currently ranked 11th in strokes gained off the tee (0.484), ninth in GIR (greens in regulation-69.89%), 12th in par four scoring average (3.97) and 11th in driving accuracy (66.57%) on the PGA Tour.

Additional golfers I like to perform well at this week’s 2025 Memorial Tournament (Draftkings price noted): Tommy Fleetwood $9,400: Tony Finau $8,200: Matt Fitzpatrick $8,000: J.J. Spaun $7,500: Christiaan Bezuidenhout $6.900.
