This week, the LPGA Tour presents Draftkings golf fans with the 2025 TOTO Japan Classic. Let’s take a look at this week’s event from a DFS perspective.
Before I dive into my DFS player selections for the TOTO Japan Classic let’s review the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most vital to a golfer’s success at this week’s LPGA Tour event.
Where will the TOTO Japan Classic be played?
The 2025 TOTO Japan Classic will be played at the Seta Golf Course (North Course) in Shiga Prefecture, Japan. This golf course is a par 72 that measures approximately 6,616 yards.
Rio Takeda won the 2024 TOTO Japan Classic with a four round cumulative score of 15 under par.
Will the TOTO Japan Classic have a traditional cut after two rounds?
The TOTO Japan Classic will have a limited field of 78 competitors to start the tournament. This event will not have a traditional cut after the completion of the first two rounds. All 78 golfers will play in all four rounds.

TOTO Japan Classic Draftkings Picks
Nasa Hataoka $10,100
Nasa Hataoka has accumulated five top 18 finishes in her last six events played on the LPGA Tour, including a second place result at the 2025 BMW Ladies Championship three weeks ago.
Hataoka is currently ranked seventh in strokes gained tee to green (1.28), 16th in strokes gained approach (0.67), 11th in driving accuracy (78.6%), 22nd in GIR (greens in regulation-73.33%), 15th in total birdies made (292) and 13th in overall strokes gained (1.54) on the LPGA Tour.
Additionally, Nasa Hataoka has posted a quality result at the Seta Golf Course in the past. Hataoka finished eighth at the 2023 TOTO Japan Classic.
Ayaka Furue $9,600
Ayaka Furue has amassed two top 13 finishes in her last three tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a ninth place result at last week’s 2025 Maybank Championship.
Furue certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Let me be more specific. Since 2021, Ayaka Furue has played the TOTO Japan Classic four times. In those four tournaments just mentioned, Furue compiled three top ten finishes, including a win at the 2021 TOTO Japan Classic.
What did we learn from the data just presented? The data clearly illustrates that Ayaka Furue has played outstanding golf to this point of the LPGA Tour season. With that said, I fully expect that trend to continue at this week’s 2025 TOTO Japan Classic.
Ina Yoon $8,500
Ina Yoon has compiled three top 26 finishes in her last three tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a 24th place result at the 2025 BMW Ladies Championship one month ago.
Gemma Dryburgh $8,200
Gema Dryburgh arrives at this week’s tournament on the heels of two consecutive top 19 finishes on the LPGA Tour, including a 13th place at the 2025 Maybank Championship. Dryburgh also won the 2021 TOTO Japan Classic.
Additional golfers I like to play well this week’s 2025 TOTO Japan Classic (Draftkings price noted): Minami Katsu $9,100: Ayaka Watanabe $7,800: Lala Anai $7,700: Min Young Lee $7,300.
