On Friday night, Major League Baseball presents the opening game of a three-game interleague series featuring the San Francisco Giants and the Athletics.
How are these two teams playing entering today’s game? The San Francisco Giants arrive at the first game of this three-game series with the Athletics playing subpar baseball. The Giants have lost three of the team’s last five games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including an 8-2 loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks three days ago.
Similar to the San Francisco Giants, the Athletics are playing below average baseball entering the opening game of this interleague series. The Athletics have lost four of the team’s last seven games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including an 8-0 shutout loss to the Detroit Tigers last week.
Now that we have determined how both of these Major League Baseball teams are currently playing let’s turn our attention to this this evening’s contest. Outfielder Heliot Ramos has been a solid performer for the San Francisco Giants this season. Let’s examine the veteran outfielder’s recent game data to better shed light on my previous statement.
In the 82 games that first baseman Heliot Ramos has played for the San Francisco Giants in the 2025 MLB regular season, Ramos has compiled a rather impressive .278 batting average, 13 home runs, 30 walks, 44 RBIs (runs batted in), 48 runs scored, a .337 OBP (On-Base Percentage) and a .796 OPS (On-Base Plus Slugging).
Last month, in the San Francisco Giants 3-2 win over the Texas Rangers, Heliot Ramos played exceptionally well. In the Giants victory over the Rangers, Ramos tallied two hits, one RBI, two runs scored and one stolen base. It should also be noted that in the Giants defeat of the Rangers, Ramos amassed 21.4 FanDuel points.
In my opinion, Heliot Ramos is the most likely player to accumulate the most FanDuel points in this MLB game. With that said, I am backing San Francisco Giants outfielder Heliot Ramos at the MVP position for this one game MLB DFS slate.
