FanDuel Best MLB DFS Picks: Tigers vs. White Sox 6/2/25

Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox
June 2, 2025 7:40 pm EDT

Major League Baseball presents FanDuel baseball fans with an American League matchup featuring the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox. Let’s take a look at this MLB game from a DFS perspective.

Before we dive into the Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox game let’s review the rules for the FanDuel single game showdown contest.

FanDuel Single Game Contest Rules

Here are the FanDuel single game contest rules. You have $60,000 to utilize on five players from either team. However, one of those players will be designated as your team MVP. The MVP accumulates 1.5x times the standard FanDuel fantasy points value. Additionally, the MVP is 1.5 times the standard cost of the flex position.

The remaining five players in your lineup will be flex plays. The five flex positions will receive the standard FanDuel points value. Having stated that, it is highly important for you to identify the correct player for your MVP position if you hope to win a large field GPP (guaranteed prize pool) FanDuel single game contest.

If you have additional questions regarding the rules for the single game contest, I highly recommend that you check out the FanDuel website for more details.

*It should be noted that FanDuel does not utilize the pitcher position in single game MLB contests. Having stated that, only batters are available for single game MLB lineups on the FanDuel platform.

Here are my FanDuel picks for tomorrow night’s Tigers vs. White Sox matchup.

FanDuel MLB DFS Picks

MVP-Colt Keith, Second Baseman, Detroit Tigers $7,400

On Monday night, Major League Baseball presents the opening game of a four-game American League series featuring the Detroit Tigers and the Chicago White Sox.

How are these two teams playing entering tomorrow night’s MLB game? The Detroit Tigers arrive at the opening game of this four-game series with the Chicago White Sox playing good baseball. The Tigers have won six of the team’s last seven games played in the 2025 MLB regular season, including a 7-5 win over the Kansas City Royals three days ago.

Conversely, the Chicago White Sox arrive at tomorrow afternoon’s American League contest playing below average baseball. More specifically, the White Sox have lost six of the team’s last seven games played this season, including a 6-4 loss to the New York Mets five days ago.

Now that we have ascertained how both of these teams are currently playing let’s turn our attention to tomorrow evening’s game. Second Baseman Colt Keith has certainly been a standout performer for the Detroit Tigers in 2025. With that said, how has the veteran second baseman shortstop performed from a statistical standpoint? Let’s review Keith’s relevant game data from the 2025 MLB regular season to better shed light on his contributions to the Tigers this season.

In the 50 games that second baseman Colt Keith has played for the Detroit Tigers in the 2025 MLB regular season, Keith has compiled a .247 batting average, 36 hits (four home runs), 21 walks, 16 RBIs (runs batted in), 28 runs scored, a .328 OBP (On-Base Percentage) and a .388 SLG (Slugging Percentage).

Earlier this week, in the Detroit Tigers 4-3 victory over the San Francisco Giants, Colt Keith played rather well. Keith amassed one hit (one double), one run scored and two RBIs in the Tigers defeat of the San Francisco Giants. Clearly, Keith can post a high number of DFS points on any given night.

In my view, Colt Keith’s reasonable FanDuel price of only $5,000 presents best fantasy value on this slate. For that specific reason, I am backing Detroit Tigers second baseman Colt Keith at the MVP position for this one game MLB DFS slate.

Flex plays I like in this game (FanDuel price noted): Riley Greene, Outfielder (Detroit Tigers) $12,800: Andrew Benintendi, Outfielder (Chicago White Sox) $9,400: Chase Meidroth, Shortstop (Chicago White Sox) $8,200.
