Due to the U.S. Open course being so unforgiving, most fantasy lineups last week were rather low scoring. Our lineup still produced 377.5 fantasy points, which should have made you money in any big league you joined. That makes a profitable lineup in three of the last four weeks. But no time to beat out chests, as we have to put together something for the upcoming Travelers Championship. Of course, for DraftKings, we have six sections and a $50,000 to spend.

C.T. Pan, $7,600 - We locked in C.T. Pan to win this tournament due to his +9000 odds, and we’re putting him on the fantasy team as well. You’re talking about a guy who is quietly putting together some decent results and has an average finish of 16.5 in two appearances at the Travelers Championship. Pan may be the best value play of the week and increases the average price of your team drastically.
Bubba Watson, $8,800 - Bubba Watson hasn’t been great recently and provided fantasy owners just 15 points last week at the U.S. Open. However, it’s only a matter of time before Watson turns things around, and he won this event in 2015 while posting top-five finishes in 2012 and 2013. This should be the week.
Xander Schauffele, $8,600 - Xander Schauffele has top-10 finishes in two of his last four events and was one of the better plays last week at the U.S. Open when he produced 60 points at a cheap price. Schauffele finished 14th last year in his only appearance at the Travelers Championship.
Patrick Cantlay, $8,400 - Patrick Cantlay hasn’t played this course since 2014 and has made the cut just once in three tries. However, Cantlay has produced 84.5 fantasy points in three of his last five events and has missed the cut just two times in 13 events. The last time Cantlay came up shot, he produced 113 fantasy points at the Memorial. Expect a bounce back week.
Russell Knox, $8,000 - Russell Knox has earned no less than 50 points in each of his last four events, and while you’d want more, you can appreciate that consistency given how some of the bigger names crap the bed often. Knox has been decent recently and returns to an event he won in 2016. Knox also finished 13th at this event in 2013. You can do a lot worse at this price.
Billy Horschel, $8,500 - Billy Horschel is finally playing consistent golf, missing the cut just once in his last seven tries and earning no less than 63.5 fantasy points in five of his last six events. Horschel hasn’t played this event since 2015, but he does have two top-25 finishes in three tries.
