This Sunday, the PGA Tour presents the golf betting community with the fourth and final round of the 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession.

For those readers that are not aware, this World Golf Championship event was originally scheduled to be played in Mexico. However, the event was moved to the Concession in Florida due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Concession had never hosted a PGA Tour event prior to this week. Having stated that, many golf fans and pundits were unsure if the Concession would be a sufficient test for the field. Well, after three rounds of competitive play, I think it’s fair to say that this golf course has certainly shown it is worthy of hosting a WGC event.

Which players will not be intimidated by this difficult golf course and rise to the occasion tomorrow? I will attempt to answer that question as I provide you with my favorite matchup golf bets for the fourth and final round.

Here are my two favorite matchup bets for the final round of the 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession.

Will Zalatoris +100 over Jason Kokrak

Since the beginning of September, Zalatoris has played ten tournaments on the PGA Tour. In those ten events just mentioned, the talented young American has seven top 17 finishes, including a sixth place result at the 2020 U.S. Open.

When I bet on an ongoing live golf tournament, I like to look at the statistics from the event as it is being played. Having stated that, after the completion of three competitive rounds at the 2021 WGC Workday Championship @ Concession, in relation to the field, Zalatoris ranks seventh in strokes gained approach, fourth in GIR (greens in regulation), and sixth in strokes gained tee to green.

Brendon Todd +115 over Gary Woodland

Todd has three top 22 finishes in his last four events played on the PGA Tour, including an eighth place result at the Mayakoba Golf Classic in December.

It should also be noted that Todd fired a five under par 67 in today’s third round of the WGC Workday Championship @ Concession. The primary reason that Todd performed so well in the third round was his flat stick. In relation to this week’s field, in today’s third round, Todd ranked second in strokes gained putting. I think Todd continues his outstanding play in tomorrow’s final round and defeats Gary Woodland.
