2021 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters: European Tour Golf Picks, Odds, Predictions 3/11/21

This week, the European Tour presents the golf betting community with the 2021 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Before I dive into my favorite golf bets for the Commercial Bank Masters let’s take a brief look at the golf course the field will play this week.

The 2021 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be played at the Education City Golf Club in Doha, Qatar. The Education City golf course is a par 71 that measures 7,307 yards. This track features three par five holes that cumulatively average over 574 yards in length. Although the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters has been played on the European Tour for over two decades, the Education City Golf Club hosted this golf tournament for the first time in 2020. Keep that in mind as you review previous event history this week.

Now that we have discussed the golf course, let’s shift our attention to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Here is a player to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.

Thomas Pieters +500 – The 29 year old will arrive at this week’s European Tour event on the heels of three consecutive top 27 finishes (European and PGA Tours combined), including a 15th place finish at the Puerto Rico Open two weeks ago. In my opinion, Pieters is without a doubt the most talented golfer in the 2021 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters field.

Here are two players to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Pablo Larrazabal +550 – The Spaniard performed rather well in his first attempt playing competitive golf at the Education City Golf Club last year. To be more specific, Larrazabal finished seventh at the 2020 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters.

Larrazabal currently ranks fifth in strokes gained around the green (0.69), 12th in putts per GIR (greens in regulation-1.73), and 15th in three putt avoidance (0.20) on the European Tour.

Rhys Enoch +950 – For my last golf betting selection, I am going to take a chance on 32 year old Rhys Enoch. Enoch is not currently a full time member of the European Tour. Due to that fact, Enoch has played tournaments on the Sunshine Tour, European Tour, and European Challenge Tour over the last year. Having stated that, Enoch won the 2021 Kit Kat Group Pro-Am on the Sunshine Tour last week. I know that may not sound overly impressive to you. However, you need to consider the fact that the 2021 Kit Kat Group Pro-Am field included the likes of Dean Burmester, Darren Fichardt, and Wilco Nienabar.
