2021 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute: Korn Ferry Tour Golf Picks, Odds, Predictions 4/15/21

This week, the Korn Ferry Tour returns to the golf schedule with the 2021 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute.

Before I dive into my favorite golf bets for this week’s Korn Ferry Tour event let’s take a quick look at the golf course the field will play and the key statistics that I feel are the most important to a golfer’s success this week.

The 2021 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute will be played at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort (Sun Mountain Course) in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Sun Mountain Course was designed by Pete Dye in 1996. This course is a par 72 that measures 7,112yds. This track features four par five holes and 86 bunkers that are strategically placed throughout the golf course.

The key statistics that I will be focusing on this week are driving accuracy, strokes gained ball striking, strokes gained approach, and GIR (greens in regulation).

Let shift our focus to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute.

Here are three golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top ten.

Justin Suh +400 – The 35 year old finished 28th at the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship in his last outing. After four rounds of competitive play at the 2021 Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship, relative to the field, Suh ranked 15th in driving accuracy (63.90%) and 13th for total birdies made (16). I should also note that the Corales Puntacana Resort & Club Championship is a PGA Tour event. Suh’s last two competitive events have also been on the PGA Tour. Suh finished 35th at the Puerto Rico Open in February and 37th at the Farmers Insurance Open in January.  Justin also finished fifth at the 2020 Shriners Hospitals For Children Open last year on the PGA Tour. If Suh can make cuts consistently on the PGA Tour he can certainly perform at a high level at a Korn Ferry Tour event.

Max McGreevy +500 – The American arrives at this week’s 2021 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute on the heels of three consecutive top 12 finishes on the Korn Ferry Tour, including a second place result at the Club Car Championship at the Landing Club.

Aaron Baddeley +700 – Yes, I know that Baddeley has had his struggles on the PGA Tour the last few years. However, I also know that the Australian has won four PGA Tour events over the course of his career. Additionally, Aaron has two top 30 finishes in his last three events played (Korn Ferry and PGA Tours combined), including a 23th place result at the Louisiana Open. I think Baddeley is a good bet for a top ten finish at odds of +700.
