2021 ISPS Handa Women's World Invitational
July 29, 2021 2:30 am EDT
This week, the LPGA Tour travels to Northern Ireland for the 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational.
Before I discuss my favorite golf bets for this week’s LPGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most important to success at this week’s 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational.
The 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational will be played at the Galgorm Castle Golf Club in Northern Ireland. This golf course is a par 70 that measures approximately 7,005 yards. Galgorm Castle is best described as a rather short parklands golf course. This track will present this week’s field with only two par five holes.
*It should be noted that the ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational is making it’s debut on the LPGA Tour this year. However, this event was played in 2019 on the Ladies European Tour schedule.
The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are driving accuracy, GIR (greens in regulation), and putts per GIR.

Let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational.
Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top five.
Charley Hull +300
The 25 year old has played rather consistent quality golf so far this year. Since the beginning of March, Hull has played 12 tournaments (LPGA and Ladies European Tours combined). In those 12 events just mentioned, Hull has accumulated six top 25 finishes, including an eighth place result at the LPGA Drive On Championship @ Golden Ocala in March.
It should also be noted that Hull competed in this this week’s event in 2019 and played rather well. More specifically, Hull finished second at the 2019 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational.
It has to be said that this week’s 2021 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational’s field is weak in overall talent compared to most events you see on the LPGA Tour. Many of the top golfers on the LPGA Tour have skipped this tournament to focus on next week’s Tokyo Olympics. Having stated that, in my opinion, Charley Hull is arguably the most talented golfer in this week’s field. In summary, I love her chances to finish in the top five.
Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top ten.
Olivia Cowan +550
The 25 year old German certainly checks the box for me when it comes to current form. Cowan has played seven tournaments on the Ladies European Tour since the beginning of June. In those seven events just mentioned, Cowan has accumulated four top ten finishes, including a second place result at the 2021 Scandinavian Championship.
Cowan currently ranks 14th in GIR (greens in regulation-77.92%) and fifth for total birdies made (90) on the Ladies European Tour.
I also like the fact that Cowan has performed well at this tournament previously. Cowan finished third at the 2019 ISPS Handa Women’s World Invitational.
