2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship
September 24, 2021 8:00 am EDT
This week, the LPGA Tour travels to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Before I discuss my favorite golf bets for this week’s LPGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I think are the most important to a golfer’s success at this week’s 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
The 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship will be played at the Pinnacle Country Club in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This track is a par 71 that measures 6,438 yards. The Pinnacle Country Club has hosted the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship since the event’s debut on the LPGA Tour schedule in 2007. It should be noted that this week’s LPGA Tour tournament will be a 54 hole event played over the course of three days.
*The average cumulative three round winning score of the two previous winners of the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship was 19 under par (2020 Austin Ernst -20: 2019 Sung Hyun Park -18).
The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are driving accuracy, GIR (greens in regulation), driving distance, scrambling, and putts per GIR.

Now let’s shift our attention to my favorite golf bets for the 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Here are two golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top ten.
Carlota Ciganda +350
The 31 year old Spaniard fired a first round 68 at last week’s 2021 Cambia Portland Classic en route to an eventual fifth place finish.
Ciganda certainly checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. Carlota Ciganda has played the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship five times since 2016. In those five tournaments just mentioned, Ciganda has accumulated four top 18 finishes, including a sixth place result at the 2019 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Jeongeun Lee +700
The 32 year old arrives at this week’s 2021 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship on the heels of three consecutive top 29 finishes, including an impressive second place result at the 2021 Cambia Portland Classic last week.
Lee checks the box for me when it comes to key player statistics. Lee is currently ranked 14th in GIR (greens in regulation-74.93%) and 22nd in driving accuracy (76.48%) on the LPGA Tour.
II also like the fact that Lee has performed well at this week’s LPGA Tour event multiple times previously. Lee has played the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship four times since 2017. In those four tournaments just mentioned, Lee has accumulated three top 18 finishes, including a tenth place result at the 2017 Walmart NW Arkansas Championship.
Here is a golfer to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.
Alana Uriell +900
The 25 year old American arrives at this week’s LPGA event in rather good form. Let me be more specific. Uriell has accumulated three top 28 finishes in her last four tournaments played on the LPGA Tour, including a 25th place result at the 2021 ISPS Handa World Invitational in July. In my opinion, Uriell’s game is trending in a positive direction. Having stated that, I am backing Alana Uriell to post a top 20 finish this week.
