2022 John Deere Classic: PGA Tour Golf Picks, Odds, Predictions 6/30/22

2022 John Deere Classic
June 30, 2022 7:45 am EDT

This week, the PGA Tour travels to Illinois for the 2022 John Deere Classic.

Before I discuss my favorite golf bets for this week’s PGA Tour event let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I feel are most vital to success this week.

This week’s 2022 John Deere Classic will be played at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Illinois. This track is a par 71 that measures 7,268 yards. Historically, PGA Tour golfers have had no problem with posting low scores at TPC Deere Run. I fully expect to see that trend continue this year. What does that mean to the golf bettor this week? It means that the golfers you bet on this week need to be able to score early and often.

The key player statistics I will be focusing on this week are strokes gained tee to green, strokes gained putting, GIR (greens in regulation), bogey avoidance, and birdie or better percentage.

Here are my favorite golf bets for the 2022 John Deere Classic.

Here are two golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.

Adam Svensson +280

Adam Svensson has posted some quality results on the PGA Tour this season. Let me be more specific. Svensson finished seventh at the 2022 Sony Open in January, ninth at the 2022 Honda Classic in February, 26th at the 2022 RBC Heritage in April, and 21st at the Canadian Open earlier this month.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 John Deere Classic field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Adam Svensson ranks ninth in strokes gained ball striking, 14th in strokes gained tee to green, and seventh in birdie or better percentage.

It should also be noted that Svensson finished 18th at the 2019 John Deere Classic.

Nick Hardy +250

Nick Hardy arrives at this week’s 2022 John Deere Classic on the heels of two consecutive top 14 finishes on the PGA Tour, including an impressive 14th place result at the 2022 U.S. Open two weeks ago.

In relation to this week’s current listed 2022 John Deere Classic field, in the last 12 rounds played on the PGA Tour, Nick Hardy ranks first in birdie or better percentage and 16th in GIR (greens in regulation).
