2022 3M Open

This week, the PGA Tour travels to Minnesota for the 2022 3M Open.
Before I discuss my favorite golf bets for this week’s 2022 3M Open let’s take a look at the golf course the field will play and the key player statistics that I feel are the most vital to a golfer’s success this week.
The 2022 3M Open will be played at TPC Twin Cities in Blaine, Minnesota. TPC Twin Cities is a par 71 that measures 7,431 yards. Although this golf course has 27 water hazards, in my opinion, this track can be best characterized as a resort style golf course that is vulnerable to low scores.
The key player statistics that I will be focusing on this week are par four scoring average, birdie or better percentage, strokes gained off the tee, bogey avoidance, strokes gained putting, and GIR (greens in regulation).
Now let’s shift our focus to my favorite golf bets for the 2022 3M Open.
Here are two golfers to consider placing on your card to finish in the top 20.
Brice Garnett +400
Brice Garnet fired a first round 66 at last week’s 2022 Barracuda Championship en route to an eventual 16th place finish.
Brice Garnett also checks the box for me when it comes to previous event/course history. More specifically, Garnett has played this week’s PGA Tour event three times since 2019. In those three tournaments just mentioned, Garnett has accumulated three top 26 finishes, including a 16th place result at the 2021 3M Open.
Adam Svensson +200
Canadian Adam Svensson has posted some quality results on the PGA Tour this season. Let me be more specific. Svensson finished seventh at the 2022 Sony Open in January, ninth at the 2022 Honda Classic in February, and 26th at the 2022 RBC Heritage in April.
More recently, Svensson finished sixth at the 2022 Barbasol Championship two weeks ago.
It should also be noted that Adam Svensson finished 15th at the 2019 3M Open.
